I loved going on family vacations when I was really young and my older brother still lived at home and joined us.
Here's a moment I wish I'd caught on camera...
When my daughter was about 5 we moved her bed into the living room because she really wanted to "be with" the Christmas tree. With my bedroom door open I could just see her bed, the tree and the entrance to the kitchen. On Christmas morning I woke up early and was just laying there trying to get back to sleep when I realized it was tiny feet that had woken me up. I turned over to look and my daughter was diving back into bed. I tried to be quiet and sure enough about a minute later she hopped back out of bed, went all around the tree on her knees and then jumped back into bed. She did that about 4 more times before I couldn't hide my laughter anymore (I mean I was already choking on my pillow!). Every year I tell her how cute and silly she used to be 🙂
Best moment was when my son woke up from his heart transplant that was a moment never to forget.
My mom cut my baby girls umbilical cord, she watched the entire cesarean and supported me throughout 🙂

13 years ago my first grandson was born and I can remember my daughter and myself were trying to get him to quit crying in the grocery store so we started singing you are my sunshine to him and he quit. We got a lot of smiles that day.
