I went up to the forest preserve. It is so nice and quiet there in the springtime.
We did not do anything special. I am laid up with a broken foot.
We didn't do anything special for Earth Day this year.
I don't usually plan anything special for earth day since it is in the middle of the week and my daughter is young to understand it. But we did hang out our laundry and didn't use the dryer for earth day.
I need one of these and like it isn't kid geared. Most are with cartoon characters on them. Those do not appeal to me.
I am an avid recycler I am very concious about reusing everything and recycling everything!!
I spend more time outside on Earth Day!
we do a yearly trip to the nearest beach to help clean up efforts on that day and then we enjoy the sun
picking our first tomatoes and blueberries, watering our plants and making some art as well as talking about why we need to be kind to the earth. we already live pretty clean, re-use, donate, try to buy local and organic where possible, walk when we can, share a car, use eco friendly cleaning products or homemade ones.
We recycle every other week and this week was recycling day so we added that to our list, we also do activities for the kids on that day
We don't do really anything special we recycle all year round and take in aluminum cans the kid love to turn them in.
We went on a walk to our neighborhood park and enjoyed nature, thanks!
no plans. Nothing special. I try to practice good Earth responsible habits every day
The familY and I planned to garden but we got some surprise snow lol
We do not do anything special for earth day
We clean the trash from our neighborhood park. There are garbage cans there, but nobody seems to care.
No we really don't do anything for earth day. Thank you for the entry.
When our family is out hiking or walking, we take a bag with us to pick up any trash we find along the way!
Its our way of giving back to the community and helping our environment!
On Wednesday, Earth Day, we wiill start our vegetable plants indoors. Our zone is too cold especially at night so the plants can only be transplanted into the garden around Memorial Day.
We plan on starting our garden
Not really, we do recycle and looking forward to starting our vegetable garden.
We plant a tree.
Recyle, but I do this all the time.
We do it all year round......See trash on the sidewalk/street, pick it up and throw away. Recycle.
We don't do anything special but we try to do our part recycling all year long.
We don't do anything special, no plans
We usually participate in the yearly beach clean up,an annual even my family likes to do.
We'll be working in the garden, as usual.
This year will mostly be Spring clean-up - we are trying to avoid additional planting due to the terrible draught we are experiencing in California - less water usage that way.
we normally do art projects using recycled material
I don't because it is just me and my husband now. However, I may be involved with my grandchildren on Earth Day.
nothing special planned.
I don't have any specific plans for Earth Day this year. I am a bit of a hermit, but I will be sure to get outside for a little while on that day. When I was a kid we did Earth Day activities in school. I remember planting a tree one year. I know my kids will have Earth Day activities at their school.
We try to unplug and find something green to do like planting, weeding or cleaning outdoors
We usually try to volunteer our time cleaning up the lake shores around our area.
Beach clean up
We plant two trees every year and this year we are planting an apple tree in addition. I really try and get the kids involved so they can appreciate what Earth day is.
I don't do much special- I do environmental work for a living- Earth Day is every day for real in our house!
