Brio - Family Home Playset and Central Fire Station
Brio has always made some incredible toys for children. They have taken their toys to the next level with their new Village themed toys.
Brio recently introduced their Village themed toys. Within this new theme are two new incredible playsets. The Family Home Playset and the the Central Fire Station Playset. Both are made out of durable, colorful, and adorable pieces that create a platform for imaginative play. I think the best part about these playsets is that they are compatible with all of the Brio train sets! That means, you can now build an entire village from all of the Brio playsets! The first one is the Family Home Playset. It is a modular playhouse that has both wood and plastic pieces. It comes with instructions to build the house, which are very simple to follow. The pieces snap together with ease. You build each portion separately. Each section has a platform, with the bottom and walls. Once you have built all of the sections, it is time to put everything together. Thanks to the construction of the Brio pieces, you can follow the directions. Or... you can build the Brio family home exactly how you like by placing the segments anywhere you would like.
There are several little family members included in this set. My son, who is just about to turn 4, thinks they are the best thing ever. He carries them around everywhere he goes since opening the box. The Family Home Playset gives him a relatable place to play. We have set the house up in several different ways. The possibilities are endless with this toy. I love how his imagination has expanded while playing with the house.

Central Fire Station
The second set in the new Village themed toys Brio sets is the Central Fire Station. It comes with a firehouse, slide, two fire trucks, helicopter, two fire people and even a chainsaw. The slide snaps right into the side of the fire station. Which is perfect for when the fire alarm sounds and the firemen can slide down the slide to load up their fire trucks.
One of the fire trucks has lights and a siren. The other fire truck has a ladder that moves and a hose that you can wind up after you have extinguished the fire. Super cute toys that are built to last. This set even includes a play chainsaw and a set of flames.
My Thoughts
Both my son and I fell in love with these playsets. The playsets gave him a platform to play that opened up his imagination. He is able to play with these sets and the Brio train sets at the same time. All of the sets are compatible with one another, which makes building a village a snap. My family has been a fan of Brio for many years and I know these toys are going to last a very long time.
