Community

Powered by Mom believes in building community whether it be online or in your neighbourhood. We are pleased to showcase other family/community oriented blogs and websites on this page. We encourage sharing information, tips, ideas and whatever you feel would be of benefit to our readers. Please keep in mind that we will not allow postings that have profanity and/or are discriminatory of any race, person, gender etc..  All submissions will be reviewed before being posted.

I love to share and what better thing to share than links to other great blogs and small businesses/mompreneur businesses. More to be highlighted soon, there's so many I like it will take a while 🙂 If you would like to have your blog highlighted here send me a message and let me know. This is not a paid ad. I do it because I believe in supporting other moms and small businesses.

    • I have lead by example to my kids that giving begins at home.It has always been a given that I and later we would give back to our community with our time.My kidlets are all growed up now and I am proud of the compassionate citizens they have become!

  4. I think it is very important to instill a love & responsibility of our community with our children. Let them learn by our actions how we care for neighbors, help each other out & genuinely take an interest in their lives. You never know when your kind word or deed may be the only kind word or deed someone sees, feels, hears or gets.

  5. I'm still fairly new to the big wide world of blogs but I appreciate all of the ones I've found and joined so far!!! I have found new dinners/snacks/treat receipes to try out, I've learned about new products through all the reviews, I've joined survey sites and put a few bucks in the bank, and of course scored some great freebies!!! Oh-can't forget the contests/giveaways that I've entered and won!!! (four of them so far!!!) I'm also looking forward to hopefully getting to know some of the people on here and making some new friends!!! So thanks for everything and keep up the great work!!! 🙂

  7. Community involvement is so important to children especially. I our small city, we have many. many activities for all children in which to participate. Very soon there will be the Halloween Trunk and Treat. Each family brings candy and all children move vehicle to vehicle collecting treats in a safe, familiar way.

  13. Like that you speak of women supporting women in small business. It is a policy that means so much. I hope others read and know this. Community is so important, and community is so many things other than your physical neighbor.
