Family Travel - Experiences in Disney World!
This is just a teaser post. I decided that since we have traveled quite a bit over the years it would be great to share those experiences with you our readers. I will do some follow-up posts with some tips of what to pack, what to do your first day on arrival and a few more things.
If you have any questions feel free to leave them and I'll try and answer them!
Here's a few of our pictures from our Disney World trip hope you enjoy them! You can see how happy my daughter was in every single picture, she had such a fantastic time! Here's one tip already as you may see from the picture that I'm, if going to Florida especially for folks like me from the west coast the humidity was killer on my hair. Have some good anti-humidity hair care products or wear your hair up LOL.
Naturally we saw all the beloved characters, I even remember running around trying to find them. We couldn't leave without seeing Jasmine and Aladdin, Tigger and of course Mickey and Minnie but we'll tell you more about them too. We are so happy we got all these pictures as we get to enjoy them for years to come and when we come back from Disneyland this year we can create a nice Disney album!
What are some of your places to travel to? Feel free to share we'd love to hear from you!
I've always wanted to go to Disney World, it looks like so much fun. Maybe someday.... 🙂
Thank you for this article, son and I plan to go to Disney World in the future.
We live in Florida and love going to Disney World. What a great place to visit young and old. I really appreciate this helpful article. Thank you for sharing God Bless
I would love to take my family here to enjoy all that this place has to offer, I am glad to see others who can enjoy places like this..
@tisonlyme143
I haven't been to Disney World since 2000. I do hope to go back someday! 🙂
I grew up going to Disneyworld every year. Then we would take my nephews. Now I have my own son to take. But he is autistic & his 1st (and only) trip was not great. He has lots of sensory issues & the change in routine was just too much for him. I think we will try again once he gets older. I hear Disneyworld really tries to work with special needs families so everyone can enjoy the experience.
We are at Disney world now and plan to come back. We'd appreciate your tips!
I love disney world it is one of my favorite places to go.
i have never been to disney world but i hear alot about it how amazing it is. looks like you had alot of fun there too. talk about memories you can talk about to your children and grand children
I've never been. I'm still waiting since the time my parents promised to take me. Now I'm married & have 5 kids. They want to go bad - it's one of our dream trips. 🙁
I went to Disney World in March 1997 when they had their 25th anniversary. I so would like to go back, it was so nice.
Walt Disney World really is the place where all dreams do come true. Looks like you enjoyed it.
I have never been to any of the Disney parks , I read all the time how wonderful it is and so much to see and do and how yummy! there food taste 🙂
We're taking the whole family, grandparents included, this May. We've been saving for a long time to finally stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and do the dining plan. It's all to celebrate my oldest graduating high school. We all live for our three-year-old's reactions at Disney, though!
The humidity is always bad here in Florida in the summer. You hae some great pics. Thank you for sharng
My daughter will be making her make a wish there I think... I can't wait to take her <3
My mom is taking my kids to Disneyworld for spring break next year...I am SO jealous!!
Looks ya'll had an amazing time. I would love to take my grandchildren one day. My Daddy took me and my children after my Mama passed away. I was 40 years old and it was the best vacation I had ever had.
I love Disney World. We like all the characters also and all the fun things to do there. You could spend weeks there and not see everything
I still love amusement parks and water parks as a grown-up. I would love to go back to Orlando and hit the Disney water parks that time.
I have never traveled to any of the Disney parks, and my children are grown up now. Perhaps I shall get to do it with a grandchild!
My grandfather believed that all children should have a good childhood. I have many good memories of Disney World because of his belief. A few years ago, after Grandpa died, I rode it's a small world. I made it all the way to the end before I started crying.
Oh, we are going next month!! Adults and kids alike are super excited!!
Thanks for sharing your pics. Your daughter looks like she's having the time of her life. The first time I went to Disney World I was three years old and don't remember very much except for getting tons of splinters in my feet while playing on the Robinson Crusoe ship there. Received a visit from the Mickey Ambulance 🙂 Since then I've been fortunate enough to visit both parks with my children several times and now as a grandmother, I hope to visit Disneyland with my two granddaughters in the near future.
I still have not gone , hopefully before I leave this world i'll have that chance.. and your hair looks fine, love all the pictures 😉 thanks for share @tisonlyme143
I love Disney World! My family used to go once a year while I was growing up and it was always so much fun. I hadn't been back since I was about 12, but I took my daughter once in December 2012 and May 2013. She wasn't even two years old yet for both of those trips, so there was quite a bit of stuff she couldn't do. I can't wait to take her back in a few years when she's old enough to experience it all. In the meantime, our favorite place to travel isn't one specific place, but a whole bunch of different places: children's museums! There are so many quality children's museums all over the United States, and the ones we've been to so far have been a blast.
sounds like you all have been having a blast Cassandra 🙂 we took our daughter to Disney Land at age 1 lol it was more a trip with my parents. Disneyworld she remembers and after this year she'll remember this Disneyland trip thanks for sharing 🙂
DisneyWorld is the best! I went with my family when I was 6. Two years later my dad died. Those memories of Disney are so treasured. I went back this past year. I am now 40, and I cried when I saw Mickey. 🙂 It meant the worlds to me.
I have never been to Disney World and looking at your photos makes me think it is about time! *LOL*
Love your wonderful review on Your Disneyland vacation. Loved the Disney Album Idea Can't wait to take my grandson.
Thanks Shelly so glad you found it useful 🙂
I think it's great that your able to give these experiences to your daughter. She is at the perfect age for it, young enough to enjoy it and old enough to remember it. My daughter had brought my granddaughter to universal studios but she was so young that she doesn't remember going. She promised her and her sister that when she's done with nursing school they will go to Disney world . I hope she's able to keep that promise.
Looks like you all had a lot of fun I have never been there but it looks cool my husband don't like doing things like that so we don't do a lot of parks My Daughter and I took the grandkids to Dolly wood it was a lot of fun
love Disneyland. my kids live in Anaheim.i love the original Disney land..
We were fortunate enough to live close to Orlando for a few years so I got to take my kids there! It really is a great family trip!
I would LOVE to take my kids to Disney World!!!!! I've been there once-when I was 17-its a Magical place!!!!!!! I LOVE Jamaica, too-I was there on a Mission Trip for 3-4 wks.!!!!! It was SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am fond of Disney cartoons and I am sure that you had a lot of fun there. It is nice to see that your daughter is absolutely happy.
My husband has never been to Disney World or Disneyland and I am hoping to be able to take him within the next year. I think everyone needs to do that at least once in their life!
