Powered by Mom brings you a Garmin Vivosmart Activity Tracker Review
The Garmin Vivosmart Activity Tracker is so much more than an activity tracker. It also acts as a smartwatch and has an impressive list of features. If you've been looking for a wearable tech device that has an impressive list of features, will track your activities, is light and comfortable then look no further the Garmin Vivosmart could be what you're looking for!
I've been trying to increase my daily physical activity so I was more than happy to say yes when the opportunity came along to review the Garmin Vivosmart activity tracker. I received the black one in large, normally I would take a small size band as I have very small hands, seriously my hands are quite small, I fit into children's gloves. However, I wanted the option of my husband being able to wear the Garmin Vivosmart as well so that he too could test it out and to get him more active too.
As you may be aware Garmin is known for the high quality GPS units and now they're moving to the wearables tech area and in my opinion they're off to a good start. The large size band did surprisingly fit both my husband and myself. I had to put it on the last natch but it was a good fit, not snug but not loose that it would move around a lot and it definitely would not come off. It fit like I would want my watch to fit on my wrist.
Here it is on hubby's wrist.
Here it is on my wrist and see it fits and there's nothing sticking out, not too snug or loose.
The other side of the band.
Here's a picture of both of our hands so you can get an idea of how it fits on different size wrists.
It is a slim flexible band that is similar to many of the activity tracker bands you've seen out there but it also has a hidden display. All you have to do is double tap the 1.35 x 0.14-inch, 128 x 16 resolution display to reveal the time and date and from there you can check your activity and more. You can also set up the Garmin Vivosmart display to activate when you raise your hand. I prefer to do the double tap. It's a bright OLED touchscreen and it is tiny as it's of course limited to the band, however I didn't find it difficult to see.
Unfortunately I found it hard to capture the lighted display on my photos. There's a slight blur from the lights, this is not how it looks when you're looking directly onto the display, it is quite clear. The Garmin Vivosmart is also waterproof up to 5 atm so theoretically you can wearing it while swimming or in the shower. I haven't test out that particular theory yet.
If you look in the reflection you can see that the text is clear which is how the display actually is 🙂
To charge it you have to plug it into a clamp and that plugs into an USB, it's easy to do but a bit awkward. I think the next upgrade of this great device would be able to just plug the unit directly. One of the features I find that I use daily besides checking my step count is using the vibrating silent alarm feature.
Here's the clamp you have to use to charge the Garmin Vivosmart
It's easy enough to put on but I think it's one of the few things they can improve upon on the next model 🙂
I use the silent alarm for those 5am mornings I have to get up, it wakes me up but no one else. I also use it for reminders throughout the day, it's extremely useful along with the "move bar". If you've been inactive too long which in my case usually means working away on my computer you'll get a notification to well get up and moving. It occurs if you've been inactive for an hour, you'll get a gentle vibration on your write and onscreen it will say "move". This is now a must have for me as I get so busy working that I forget to get up and stretch my legs and walk around. We need to get away from those computers more often and now with the Garmin Vivosmart you can!
This particular Garmin Vivosmart also comes with a heart rate monitor, that's an added bonus. It doesn't go on your wrist though of course it's worn across your chest. I admit though I haven't gotten into this yet as I've only had my Garmin Vivosmart for a short time so I'm working my way up to it. It's a bonus though and I'm thrilled it's included.
There are way too many features on the Garmin Vivosmart to go over but my favorite ones are as follows:
- Displays steps, calories, distance and time of day
- Vibration alerts for calls, texts and emails from your smartphone
- Easy operation using touch and swipe
- Inactivity alert reminds you to move
- Auto goal keeps you challenged
The Vivosmart comes in all black but you can also select ones with an underside color of mauve, violet, dusty blue or gray.
- Vivosmart features a sleek, invisible display that comes to life when you get a notification or when you give the band a tap. Then the OLED display shines through the band to reveal your steps, distance traveled, calories burned, time of day and more.
- Up to 7 days of battery life and I can say yes it did last 7 days which is far better than a Fitbit I've tried.
- On-device data fields/screens - Daily step count, goal countdown, inactivity timer, distance, calories, time of day/date, heart rate, bike speed, VIRB action camera/remote, music player controls
- History - Stores up to 3 weeks of 24/7 activity data on device between syncs, or up to 2 weeks if a heart rate monitor is used 1 hour per day
- Supports heart rate and heart rate zone - Yes (when used with an ANT+ heart rate monitor)
Overall I love the convenience of having a smartwatch activity tracker. I don't have to keep looking at my phone for either the time or to see if I'm meeting my activity level goals. I can set reminders, check my notifications and more I haven't even had a chance to try. The Garmin Vivosmart has a lot of features packed into this wearable device and I look forward to figuring them all out if hubby doesn't claim it has his own first!
I learned that it has a OLED touchscreen.
I learned that you can mute the Garmin so that when you are walking around and don't want it to share the information that it can be silenced on-demand.
I like the get up and move reminder every hour, but I'm with you on the heart monitor part I don't think I would want to use it. I also noticed the plug in part did look awkward, so hopefully they will improve it.
I didn't realize that Garmin made fitness trackers. So cool. I love the silent alarm setting and the reminder to get up and move!
Oh I love this! This will be great for my husband who is using a pedometer that just tracks how many steps he's taken. So many great features to this Garmin Vivosmart Activity Tracker...water-proof, little reminders to get up and move, clear LED display. I just can't say enough about it!
I learned it has an inactivity alert to remind you to move.
I learned that it will give you vibration alerts for calls, texts on your smartphone
Love that you have clearly specified the features and shown photos of it. You know what you are getting and whether it will suit your needs. Especially love that this has a silent alarm! Wakes me and no one else! 🙂
I knew they made GPS units; I had no idea that they made these. I like that they are 5-ATM safe; not only great for showers, but you can track swimming distances, too. Also like the blank display that only shines when you have something to see.
quite a long battery life and large data storage
Wow, I love that this is adjustable. I too have very skinny wrist (when wrapping my fingers around (thumb and index) they pretty much overlap). Other features I like: the silent alarm and the reminder to get off your butt!
Thank you for reviewing there is so much on the market now a days it can all get confusing.
Garmin makes great navigation products.I didn't know they made trackers. Nice to see pictures that it looks good on both men and women.
I learned that it is very easy to use.The Garmin Vivosmart is also waterproof up to 5 atm so you can wear it while swimming or in the shower. I think it would be very useful for me.
I like that I can keep track of so many things in my day to day life
Thanks for the review Michelle. I have Fibromyalgia and one of the worse things for me body is being inactive for too long, (like sitting at the computer or laying in bed) so I love the alarm that tells you to move! Plus being able to wear it when it's raining out. I would have no more excuses.
Wow!
I Had never ever heard of this item before you posted about it.
Looking at the photo, I'd think it was nothing but a watch strap. And then hearing all that it does makes me think it is so complicated. But then your review simplifies a bit. Fantastic that you use iti and hubby
I really love all the features of the Garmin especially how it lights up the screen. Also how it keeps track of everything.
I like that is a smartwatch, tracks activity and light. Thanks for the opportunity!
SOmething I've been thinking about buying, but did not know there was a Garmin product.
Thanks!
I'd really appreciate being able to track my daily step count, heart rate, and the distance I run, bike, or swim each day - and how great that this is waterproof, too! Wonderful product!
I like how sleek it is. I had a pedometer, but it broke after a few months and I never bought another one. I like how this one keeps track of your distance and calories burned. I have to start walking again, although I now have to use a walker. This would be so perfect for me. Happy Easter to you & your family 🙂
I already knew that Garmin is a name to trust. I didn't know that this has an inactivity reminder...I could use that extra push!
My doctor recently strongly recommended that I become more active and eat healthier foods. The reminders to move would really help me since I easily spend 6 hours in a row on my tablets, yet I'm always shocked by the number of hours that have elapsed! The heart rate monitor would be great too!
I would love to win this fitness tracker. It impresses me that it is also a smart watch.
I have never heard of this brand before. I am impressed that it has so many functions. The silent is one that would be useful to me. I also like that it has heart rate monitor. I have been looking into activity tracker because I feel it will help me keep better account of my steps per day. Also it is great that it can fit both you and hubby.
My work life consists of me sitting at a desk for 8+ hours a day. This would be an awesome way to remind me to get up and get moving. Love this!
I learned that it's waterproof, that is great with 2 small kids. You know something is always getting spilled around here!
i like the Inactivity alert reminder- i could use this at work.
I like that it has Vibration alerts for calls
I like that you can use it for reminders throughout the day..God knows I need that with my memory
I love the the silent alarm which would wake only me
I learned you can activate it when you raise your hand. I love that it has 7 days of battery life as well. That definitely exceeds my expectations.
i learned that It also acts as a smartwatch
That it's waterproof
I feel like it's a little bulkier than some of the others on the market.. I like that it has diff colors though.
Interesting Hilary as I found it less bulky than the fitbit for example which I have.
I like the lighted display and the fitting options.
I like that it looks like it is secure even on different wrist sizes.
This is a great way to get fit. Way better than the pedometer I use that is always falling off my pants!
It fits your wrist so nicely! I've had another brand of activity tracker band and it didn't fit too well. The inactivity alarm feature is so cool! It's just what you need to get up and move.
I like the movement alerts and silent alarm, so it can remind you for your walk in morning and not waking the whole family
I think that the movement alerts are so cool! I find myself trapped to a desk, so those little reminders would be a sweet way to remind me to get up and talk a little walk!
I don't know much about this tech so I learned quite a lot. My favorite is that it's water resistant.
Really cool how it comes with a charger and variable fit too!
This is a really neat activity tracker! I had no idea that Garmin was making these! I have a Garmin GPS watch that I use for running and LOVE so I'm sure these are fabulous.
I really love the silent alarm! What a great way to get moving in the morning without waking the whole house!
I love that The Garmin Vivosmart is also waterproof
I like the look of the Vivosmart Smart Watch, and I was especially glad to hear that it's waterproof. It would be a nuisance to have to remove it everytime I was washing dishes, or doing wash.
The Garmin Vivosmart Activity Watch is just Amazing! I definitely would love to have this one. I need to loose weight and this would help me so much with my calorie counting and activities I participate in!! Thankyou so much for this very Helpful Review.
I love the waterproof function. It is so important to me down here in Florida. I am constantly in the water during the summer months.
It is hard to keep track all the exercise records from daily activities (walking, running, etc) so this Garmin vivosmart activity tracker is a big help to record all the calories, heart rate, daily step count... for me
that it will fit on both my husbands and mine hand and it has a 1.35 x 0.14-inch, 128 x 16 resolution display
I learned that if you have been inactive too long which in my case usually means working away on my computer you’ll get a notification to well get up and moving. Cool!
You explained this very well in your description and the photos. I like that you stated you have a small wrist but the large was small enough for you and big enough for your husband, that lets me know I would probably want a large as well. I also like that you compared it to a FitBit because I was also considering that. I do think I will have to try this one instead of a FitBit. Thanks 🙂
I have seen them but you made it crystal clear as to how my Son and I could speed up our activity very simply. Thank you for the contest I would love to win one 🙂
I like that its a watch and not just an activity tracker. I also like that its water proof.
I learned that it has an inactivity feature that reminds you to move, which is awesome!! I also love using it as a silent alarm, and that it gives you notifications from your smartphone!! I would love this for my daughter! Thanks for the chance to win 🙂
I learned it will keep track of my calorie intake which is a great relief to me.
I have been wanting one of these. I did not realize that it is capable of so many operations. I really like the silent alarm. I'm sure my family would love it too.
I really was interested in the band size. Thanks for the review. I have bigger hands for a woman so this was info I needed
I learned you have to double tap it to get to the tie and date and then track your activity.
i love how small it is and that its flexible. i need one of these. i feel like if i kept track i would be more apt to get up and move around to meet goals.
This is a remarkable product that has up to a 7 day battery charge, has a heart rate monitor and OLED display easy to read and use. And it also reminds you to move.
Recently I go got interest about health trackers.. I so much like this one's design and functions. 7 day battery life and heart rate...wow...love to have this one
wow, see, I've looked at activity trackers a bit and decided i didn't really need one because my s5 has a steps counter. this is SO Much more than just counting steps, i think i need one now. lol. love the idea of the silent alarm but i'd probably charge it while i was sleeping and forget about it 🙂
I like that if You Inactive it reminds you to move
i really like that it has a hidden display!! kinda keeps yourself curious and it allows to not get so caught up in the daily workout
I love that this reminds you to move. I think that feature would help me be more active.
I learned a lot from your review - like I need this! I have a Garmin GPS and didn't know that this was their first wearable. They are great quality products
Activity trackers are becoming so popular now a days! I really like all of the features this one has. Thank you for the review.
Love the sleek design and the waterproof function. I'm the type that would take it off and forget to put it back on!!
what a great way to keep you motivated to move
This is a remarkable product that has up to a 7 day battery charge, has a heart rate monitor and OLED display easy to read and use.
I like that it's waterproof and I love the hidden display! Makes it look like a bracelet when you are just wearing it!
learned that it is adjustable for different arm sizes, waterproof is nice, too. long battery life
I learned the underside comes in 5 different colors and the hidden display feature
Great review. I have seen he commercials for he Vivosart but now that you explain the silent vibration to remind you to move I get it!
I learned that you activate it by raising your hand or double tapping, cool!
I learned that the underside of the watch comes in 5 different colors.
I have been researching fitness trackers recently, I also have small wrist, nice to see that it would fit.
I love that All you have to do is double tap the display to reveal the time and date and from there you can check your activity and more.
I learned about the Garmin especially that it is waterproof. I have their car navigation system and I love it. Thank you for the chance!
I learned that this Garmin is waterproof! which is nice since it wont be affected by seat or if you get it wet. Thats a nice feauture.
I didn't know about all the features, especially the vibrating silent alarm, that would be great so I won't wake my husband when I have an early start.
The 7 day battery life is a plus compared to fitbits
I learned that it displays steps, calories, distance and time of day. This would be great for me!
I would love to own one of these Garmin tracker.
I appreciate the detail of your review. It helps to know how it fit both you and your husband- something I thought I would be the only one who would think to do..
I learned that Garmin has gone from tracking cars to tracking people.
Wow, that is a rather feature-heavy piece of technology! Something telling me to "move" would be rather helpful as I get lost in time on my computer - at work and home. I also like that it notifies you of phone activity because we can't have phone sound on at work and I miss calls sometimes. I think seeing all the info/activity being tracked would be a good motivator.
Thanks so much for all the information on the Garmin Vivosmart Activity Watch! I learned that there are so many different type settings on this Watch! It has a timer so that you can set it to vibrate to wake up early or to time yourself at an activity! You can take telephone calls on it! You press it and it will tell you all the information on your workout which you need to know! There is so many things this watch can actually do! Thanks, Michele 🙂
I love that the Garmin activity tracker is small and lightweight. I love that it is waterproof because I do a lot of swimming and it's great that it can track that activity.
Wow....what an impressive piece of technology!!! I would love to have one because I'd love to know how many calories that I burn during my walks throughout the day. I also love that it has an inactivity alert that will tell me to get up and move.
That's awesome that it works as an alarm clock, too!
This sounds really great! My favorite features are how it reminds you to get moving and also the long battery life. The only thing that could make this better is if it tracked sleep cycles too!
I love the look of your new Garmin-Vivosmart!
It sounds like a good device. Especially for those that are really into fitness.
Wow!! What a great product! I love that it would help me stay on track on my new fitness regime!
I learned that this Garmin is waterproof! I can take it to the pool.
I really like the silent alarm feature.
I'd like to upgrade from my Fitbit, and your review helps me make that decision. Your review tells me that the Garmin displays steps, and my Fitbit does not. Also, I would LOVE the silent alarm on the Garmin. My dog goes berserk when the alarm clock next to my bed goes off, Garmin would make my life easier, every single morning. And I love the frequent reminders to get up and move: it's so easy to get lost into computer screens and TV screens.
Thanks!
I really like that it has an inactivity alert
Honestly Michelle, you had me after the first paragraph: before you even got to all the features and benefits of the products or even a description of what it actually is/ suppose to be and do ~ much less your review/assessment of how well it performed or if you would recommend it ~ and if so, how enthusiastically...
You see my husband and I had already been talking about how each of us really needed some product or system that would allow us to self-monitor our inner health goings on and improve our wellness/fitness strategies. (in recent years we have both been battling some serious medical conditions.) We already agreed upon the need and that we didn't want to buy something on the cheap ~ the major obstacle was that we figured we'd have to buy TWO and that was going to be a problem given our current austerity budget.
And like with you and yours, my guy's hands and arms are A LOT bigger than mine (we had to get two different blood pressure/heart rate monitors too) ~ so when you got right to the point that you two could share ONE despite the considerable size differences (thanks aside from your words ~ the photos too helped me get a better sense of sizes and fit ~ thanks.) I'm going to share your review with my honey he'll want to do a bit more research ~ but I think you've helped find the solution. (For me especially the hourly nag when I'm putting in long hours on the computer would be a real godsend (and possibly a lifesaver) ~ sometimes I get so engrossed in my work that I can lose track of time ~ for hours...
I am really impressed with the 7 day battery life, but Garmin is known for quality. I like that both my husband and myself could wear it. I LOVE that is it waterproof. Very impressive.
It's waterproof, so I could wear it in the pool. Now THAT is cool!
I learned that this Garmin is waterproof. Which I find very good.
I loved the review! I really liked the fact that you compared your husband and your wrists so you can see that it fits either one of you. I've wanted one of these for so long. I'm really inclined after reading this.
I like that it has a silent vibrating alarm. I also like that it has a hidden display but it is easy to activate by just tapping (no buttons to try to push).
My wife has a device like this but I've been reluctant to get one. I really like this one and I am now tempted more than ever to get one.
I like the fit and the look of the Garmin Vivosmart. I think it would help me achieve my fitness goals.
I love the auto goal feature. it will def keep me motivated.
I like that it has a usb to upload and its light and comfortable.
I have wanted this for a year now!!
Love everything about it.
Especially, ...
Up to 7 days of battery life and I can say yes it did last 7 days which is far better than a Fitbit I’ve tried.
And, inactivity/sleep monitoring.
Thanks.
Looks to be a simpler heart rate monitor than the one I have.
I love that it has a battery life up to 7 days and it has an inactivity alert! This Garmin VivoSmart Activity tracker is awesome!! I would definitely put it to great use!
I like the inactivity alert 's you to keep moving as a reminder... NEED THAT ALERT FOR SURE !!!!!!!!1
I like how easy it seems to track things for my overall health.
i need a heart monitor..this will work thanks
I really like that it has an inactivity alert
I love that it Stores up to 3 weeks of 24/7 activity data.
I have been debating getting a device like this. I am disabled and have been going to the Y to work out 3x a week. I have lost 60 lbs. A product like this is perfect for tracking fitness goals. What I didn't know is that it can be synched to a smartphone. The alarm feature is pretty impressive also. Thank you for yet again another thorough review!
Oh my goodness...where do I start? I have been researching the many activity "smart watches" that are out there. I've also been trying to win one, so maybe this time I'll win it! haha The features on this watch are amazing! I had no idea that it did so many things, and like you said...those were just your favorites! I absolutely LOVE the silent alarm! I would use that quite often. I also love that it reminds you to move! We all need a nudge from time to time! I know I do! Thank you so much for reviewing this! I learned a lot. God bless, and here's keeping my fingers crossed that I win!
I learned how a smart watch works and all the wonderful things it can tell you.
I like the Garmin Vivosmart. It would make tracking my physical actives much easier and
remind me to keep moving. I love the style and choice of colors. Enjoyed the review!
The vibration alert is a feature that would be really useful for me, I love that you can do so much with this!
I didn't know that this was waterproof. It would be great to wear to water aerobics class!
I really like that you shared the size and comparison to both of your wrists like you did. This makes sharing one between my husband and I a no-brainer.
I need one these to help me know if i am doing anoth to lose weight
I love that you can activate by double-tapping or set up the Garmin Vivosmart display to activate when you raise your hand
I thought the activity trackers were kind of silly until my brother showed me how he was using it. I had not heard about the Garmin tracker, but Garmin makes quality products. And it tracks everything for you! That is what I need.
It's pretty cool that it fit both you and your husband. And I love an inactivity alert--sometimes I need a reminder to get up and move!
I'm looking for something that will keep track of my running, walking and gym activities as well as misc household chores.
I learned that it comes with a silent alarm!
I really like that it has an inactivity alert - I think that would be helpful for me.
This seems like an awesome product with many good features. One thing I learned is that you can also set up the Garmin Vivosmart display to activate when you raise your hand.
Sounds like an interesting way to get fit.
I like all the functions that it has: heart rate monitor, sleep monitor, activity tracking, time, smartphone alerts, etc. I also like that it keeps track of your information for 2-3 weeks depending on whether you use the heart monitor. I also like that you only have to charge it once a week. It sounds like a great product.
We love our Garmin GPS. I never would have guessed that they made products such as this one. How exciting!
I love that this fit both you and your husband. Garmin is a well known company. I would definitely love to have this. Thank you for sharing
I learned that all you have to do is double tap the display to reveal the time and date, and from there you can check your activity and more. Thanks for the review!
I think this tracker would be so helpful to up my activity levels. I especially like the Inactivity alert reminds you to move. Very good review!
I learned that it displays calories witch would be awesome since i started keeping track
Beside the fact that I need something like this to help me lose weight by counting Daily step count, goal countdown, inactivity timer, distance, calories, time of day/date, heart rate, bike speed, and controlling the VIRB action camera/remote, music player controls. I also like the color selection available.
Light and sleek. I love the design. It would to fun to wear it and track where I go.
I have been wanting a fitness and activity tracker for such a long time, and really thought that the FitBit was the only real option. However, I love the idea that the VivoSmart is from Garmin (the BEST GPSes around!) and one of my favorite features is the Inactivity alert - not enough to track what you're doing, but also to make sure you are moving!
I'm a huge Garmin fan. I have not only a Garmin GPS for my car but I also have a handheld Garmin GPS and they are so easy to utilize and understand. With that being said, when I saw Garmin has now put out a Vivosmart Activity Tracker I was thrilled. I recently purchased a NordicTrack and I'm trying to do more and also track activity and keep fit. This would be perfect. I like Auto goal and the Inactivity alert features. Thanks for sharing this review. I had no idea this item was available on the market.
This Garmin activity tracker has a lot of cool features! One of my favorites is the silent alarm, vibration alerts and the calories. I have something that tells me how many steps I took, but doesn't tell me the calories I have burned!!
I'm impressed with the many functions it has and it seems that it's easy to use. I like the fact that it stores up to 3 weeks of 24/7 activity data on device between syncs, or up to 2 weeks if a heart rate monitor is used 1 hour per day. It also seems to be comfortable to wear.
This is pretty comparable to the Vivofit that I've been looking at, definitely giving me something to compare to when I decide to buy!! Thanks for the review!
I didn't realize that Garmin had a product in this market. I like the look of this and also the features listed.
Great review...this sounds like a very worthy product. Wouldn't mind having one!
My husband and I have been researching which would be best for us. There have been so many coming out, that it can be so confusing! Thank you for your review. I like this one, and am going to suggest it to my husband!
This sounds like a great tracker! I've been trying to research lately to figure out which one would be the best for me, and this review helps! Thanks!
I love that it looks like a bracelet, but is so much more! I have really been wanting to start tracking my calorie burn since getting into exercise recently, but just don't have the money to buy something like this. Would LOVE to win it!
I've been wanting an activity tracker, and I love my Garmin GPS. I'm glad that they've decided to enter this wearable tech market! In the past I would've had my husband wear the Vivosmart because he'd get up at 3:30 a.m. Now he's in the hospital with a bad work injury, so when he finally comes home, I'll be the one who needs a silent alarm! We're going to have to completely change our lifestyle too, so I could really use a feature like the "move bar." I'd be content to sit around all day, so any little reminder would be great to help me motivate!
I love the discreet design and the heart rate monitor feature. The mauve would definitely be my choice and it's amazing the amount of data it retains between syncs!
How smart technology is I can't believe that it actually vibrates and tells you to move after you've been inactive for to long. That's an amazing feature, I think that we can get lost behind our desk and forget that we haven't moved. I'd love to try this out. I find myself way to sedentary, I am impressed!
This is something I really need!! I love the inactivity feature. I tend to be a couch potato or sit in front of my puter too long. I have severe back issues and I really need to get up and walk around. Love that it vibrates because my husband hates beep beep beeps!
It is a great reminder to move it!!
This looks like a great device, I love that if you're still for an hour it will actually tell you to move. I'd love to have one of these and I'd get one for my mother.
◾History – Stores up to 3 weeks of 24/7 activity data on device between syncs, or up to 2 weeks if a heart rate monitor is used 1 hour per day- I like this so you can keep track of what you have done over the past couple of weeks.
I also like that it is waterproof. I would wear it doing laps in the pool.
This is another great tool. I do like Garmin gps so I'm sure this is cool too.
Love that it is waterproof......and that it fits even small wrists.
I like the fact that you can't see what's on the display unless it has some information to tell, such as phone call or the alarm goes off. I also like the fact that it lets you know that you've been inactive to long.
I learned that it would really help me track everything
It comes in all sizes and contains everything a healthy person could want , and it will track your activities, is light and comfortable
I have learned that they have reasonable prices on everything.
This is for people that are serious about fitness. My wrist is so tiny, it would fall right off.
These are really cool. I would like to get one for myself. It might actually motivate me.
I learned that it has a bright OLED touchscreen and that I can get alerts for calls, texts and emails from my smartphone, very cool device.
i like that the OLED display shines through the band to reveal your steps, distance traveled, calories burned, time of day and more
I wouldn't mind having one of these. Thanks for the information.
Stores up to 3 weeks of 24/7 activity data on device between syncs, or up to 2 weeks if a heart rate monitor is used 1 hour per day
This looks interesting. Idk if I would like it though.
this looks and sounds like a neat gadget!!!
this lil tracker is amazing i learned so much from your review this is a great way to keep your self active in the busy lifes we all lead now a days ..i like how it will give you a tiny vibration to let you know its time to get movin..
7 days of battery life is impressive!
I learned that it displays calories which I really like
I could really use this during my daily walk that way it keeps track of everything since I don't write it down.I have never owned one of these but do plan on getting one,and when I do the Garmin Vivosmart Activity Tracker will be my first choice
I've learned that the Vivosmart features a sleek, invisible display that comes to life when you get a notification or when you give the band a tap.
I am looking for one I can wear swimming which is my exercise of choice.
I would love to get my hands on one of these and get it in blue
Hey Shakeia, if your comment is part of the giveaway unfortunately you haven't fulfilled the review comment entry.
love the pictures so I can see how it fits on your smaller wrist and the brightness of the display. I didn't know about the hidden display feature that is pretty cool. I didn't see it in the review, but does it come with the little band so it can't come up clasped?
WOW! I really enjoyed reading your Terrific Review on Garmin Vivosmart Activity Tracker! This device sounds really neat! I love that it keeps track of all the things you do! Also, I like the fact that it will tell you to get moving after an hour! It's terrific as well that it has a silent alarm to either wake you up for you to get going or for any other different reason you set it for! This is a great product! Thanks so much for sharing your Terrific Review, the pictures, and all the personal and professional information about the Garmin Vivosmart Activity Tracker with all of us! I honestly do appreciate it! Thanks again! Michele 🙂
I had no idea that Garmin made products like this! I thought they only made navigation products!
