NutriBullet for Nutrient Extraction & Extraordinary Nutrition Review

Take charge of your health with NutriBullet

Blenders are great machines, but what happens when you want to make a smoothie or something like pesto? The ingredients catch and don’t get blended well enough for the recipe. That is why you NEED a NutriBullet.

Yes, the same NutriBullet that you have heard of. I had heard of it but didn’t think much about them because I already had a professional blender and a blender/chopper. I didn’t think it could offer me anything more than what I already had. Of course, because it is me, I was proven wrong.

NutriBullet-review-1

A NutriBullet is a perfect tool for health-conscious folks looking to be able to prepare snacks like shakes and smoothies, rinse it out and be on their way. You can even eat and drink from the NutriBullet cups that the blender blades attach to! Yes, you read this correct. No need to mess up another dish, just pop the blades off, the lid on and go. Simple, simple, simple.

I’ve made several smoothies in my NutriBullet and I have to say, the twist on design makes it so much easier than putting together the blender or chopper. I just throw my ingredients into the cup, twist the blades on, and then blend. Since it stays plugged in and on my countertop, I save time. Wouldn’t this be helpful when school starts?

I can put the NutriBullet cups and attachments into the dishwasher, top rack of course. That also saves me time. But, of course, I like to rinse the pieces after I use them so it makes cleanup easier.

Want to hear about something else NutriBullet offers? They make superfood Blends to put in your smoothie. I was surprised to find these powders, but not only do they add more antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals into my daughter’s smoothie, but they taste good too!

NutriBullet-review-3

Superfoods are 100% organic, GMO-free and are effective for helping boost weight loss, boost energy or as just a way to get more nutrients into your diet. I put this into my daughter’s smoothie the first time and not the second. She called me out on it and asked to remake the smoothie because she likes it.

NutriBullet University

In 2013, NutriBullet and a local high school (in Los Angeles) decided to experiment. They decided to provide healthy, nutritious breakfasts to students in the School of Health and Environmental Sciences. The thought was that they would study the effects of the nutrition on health and performance of the students. The timeline was 12 weeks.

Blast Bar-several NutriBullet Systems, organic fruits and vegetables, nuts seeds and superfoods so that the students can make their own smoothies (also called NutriBlasts). The program is simple for the kids. One NutriBlast a day, five days a week, for twelve weeks. Each month the students get two recipes to choose from or they can make their own from provided produce, with specific instructions.

Along with the BlastBar, NutriBullet has a team of nurses that monitor the student’s health throughout the program. They take blood pressure, weight measurements, cholesterol readings, as well as the kids document any changes they feel during the experiment.

The students shown more energy, less hunger, felt full, they craved veggies. By the third week, the students learned there was more out there than fast foods, junk foods and they were inspired to think about more than just what is in front of them. They learned to make better choices. The results from the 12-week program is astounding. I would love for this program to come to my kids’ schools.

For the whole documentary, and believe me, you’ll benefit from watching it, watch the NutriBullet University Documentary.

There is so much more to the NutriBullet than I am telling you. Go online to nutribullet.com to learn more about it.

  1. I had no idea they had protein blends? Wow, that sure takes the guess work out of what to put in your shakes and prolly in the long run saves on buying all the ingredients to make a healthier shake. I wish healthy stuff wasn't so expensive!

  6. What I like most about the nutribullet is the size (and power too!). It's perfect for those morning smoothies that you can drink right out of the cup.

  7. I love this, and did not know that you could drink right out of it, now that is convenient. I also love the fact that you can put it in the dishwasher. I liked learning that they have the Superfood powders, I had no idea they offered that as well. Its just the perfect size to leave out on the counter also. Everything I learned in your review has me wanting one even more.

  16. I already knew it would be easy clean-up, that it would save timeand give me more veggies. But I was amazed about the program. I think they should do it in all schools, at least in the science classes. I think it is a wonderful idea. It might start a revolution.

  17. I love that it is quick and effective! It really chops up fruits, veggies, and nuts quickly and makes amazing smoothies in like 2 min. The cleanup is easy as well. I used to have one of these bad boys and need a new one!

  18. My wife and I were just about to return the Nutri Bullet that we received at our baby shower because we thought that it was just another blender only marketed for baby food. We were so wrong, the system really is designed to make preparing baby food as simple and easy as possible with clear recipes to follow, different blades for oats (millet blade sp?) and so easy to clean up. I love being able to prep an entire weeks worth of baby food in easy to clean containers.

  30. That smoothie you made looks really delicious. Going to check out the recipe right now. What I really like about the Nutribullet is that you can eat/drink right from the cups the blades attach to. One thing that I really don't like about a blender and why I don't use them is because I find them to be really messy and you end up having to use a lot of dishes/bowls/cups. So it's nice that you can just eat out of this one.

  42. I loved the review but I didn't learn too much because I already own the Magic Bullet and the Baby Bullet. I have even taken my Magic Bullet to work with me and made the girls and I smoothies, or sometimes milkshakes. We would make garlic wings and there is nothing better than fresh garlic we would chop up with the Bullet. My family however loves when I make cheesecake and it only takes 5 minutes. These machines are fantastic and the clean-up is nothing, thanks for the chance to win.

  48. I'd like to have this because, in general I have a very poor diet. I get distracted and forget to eat fora couple of days. My husband is always on me reminding me to have something. This would be great. With minimal mess, I could whip up something that's healthy and filling.

  49. I am looking for a powerful smoothie maker after my smoothie blender died. My Doctor suggested I lose 20 lbs as weight gain had snuck up on me so I hope I the nutribullet would help out with that. It appears to do what no blender or food processor can do - liquify and transform any mix of veggies, nuts and water or milk into a delicious elixir.

  50. Great that it is dishwasher safe, but I'd probably continue to hand wash as I'd want to make a smoothie every morning and don't run the dishwasher daily. And, yay, for the public school project!
