I received the DVD Letter Sounds by Rock N learn to review. I incorporated my 5 yr old Grandson Aiden, to help me with review using his opinions as well as my own. He was mesmerized at the on screen mouth that made the sounds of each letter and was trying to mimic them as the movie went along. He watched with full attention through the first 3 sections of the DVD, then got a little antsy, so we stopped it and came back an hour later. In the hour break time, I was thrilled that he was singing the little jingles that were in the DVD and reciting some of the rhymes!
I love the updated way of reaching kids this DVD has, compared to when my kids were little. The characters were very cute, and of course Aiden loved the guy playing guitar! I am anxious to get him some more of these videos, the catalog has a HUGE assortment!
I feel it is a major help with the way kids are pushed so young today being expected to know all the Letters,words,numbers and more items we didn’t have to know until 2nd and 3rd grade.
Aiden made sure “HIS” new DVD was in his backpack safe and secure, to take home to show his Mom & Dad.
It was so cute!!.
