Last years summer storms knocked out electricity for 2 weeks in our community. wWe were lucky and only out for 4 days but some of my friends and family were absolutely miserable (many came to my house to shower and chill out) Seeing how bad it was for them makes me never want to experience that and a generator would be one way to insure I don't have to.

Would be great when power goes out!
about 10 years ago we bought some land. We found out too late we could not build on it and got scammed. We now try to put small crop in and go out there sometimes to camp, or just work on it. I have always wanted a generator for my husband to use when he is out there. For lights especially to be safe when working. But also because there is not water or electricity for anything. It's boring for the kids to go out there.
Every time the wind blows, we lose power. The last time we lost power was during a blizzard and I had a newborn baby and it wasn't safe to leave. We froze for 24 hours. I am terrified that it will happen again.
