Powered by Mom & Family are Thankful for their Dogs
For dog lovers everywhere not only did we appreciate our family on Thanksgiving but we are thankful for our friends and family all year long. This means we're also thankful for our dogs as they are an important part of our family too. They give us unconditional love all year long, they are there when we're happy, sad, grumpy, well they're just there no matter what, never judging, always just giving us their love and loyalty. Darn amazing if you ask me and it's no wonder my entire family are animal lovers.
This month, Purina also wants to thank our four-legged friends and are inviting pet owners across the nation to show the world how they thank their pets. Post a picture showing how you thank your pet using the hashtag #DogThanking and tagging @Purina. For every original post submitted through November 27 that includes @Purina and the hashtag, #DogThanking, Purina will donate one dollar to the Canine Health Foundation – up to $50,000 – to help further pet health research.
Some treats and a dog toy that Luna and Little Zeus received from Purina
Both of our dogs Luna and Little Zeus (aka LZ) give us so much love each and every day. They each have their unique personalities but we love them for them. LZ is our picky dog who doesn't eat just any old treat or food, whereas Luna she'll eat pretty much anything. We only want the best for them so we make sure that they get treats with quality ingredients. So to thank them we gave them some treats this holiday season and a some new dog toys.
Luna was too busy enjoying treats so she declined having her photo taken this time but LZ the photogenic boy he is always seems to be ready to have his picture taken.
They both quite enjoyed the Purina treats and we continue to enjoy them each and every day. We are truly thankful for our pets, our lives are enriched because of them all.
Little Zeus loved the smell of the treats before they were even out of the bag!
Sweethearts. Pets are great!
Your pets look so loved:) I have a tuxedo cat named roxie ann and she is running around playing up a storm at the moment:)
I am so grateful for my adorable terrier. He wasn't what I thought I was looking for when I went to the shelter, but it turns out he's absolutely everything I could ever have wanted and then some. To those of you who have reservations about senior pets, just know that they've spent years storing up love and want nothing more than someone on whom to bestow it.
I miss having a pet! I live in an apartment and cannot have one. I am thankful my daughters gave me grand puppies!
I'm definitely grateful for my Rylee, who's a Shih Tzu cross. He was abandoned in a parking lot when he was young, but now he's ours to love 🙂
We have two poodles, one who is 5 and one who is 5 months old. We are so thankful for them, they bring so much into our lives. They are our kids!
With no kids our fur baby, Sheba is our heart and soul...
Pets are amazing!! So nice that you took the time to be thankful for them 🙂
That is really great! I am thankful for my dog. I will have to do this too! Thanks for sharing your post.
I dont own a dog but we are buying one once we buy a house.. too hard renting.
When you're ready Jeff I hope you all consider adopting a dog from a shelter and not buying from breeders or a pet store. So many dogs in shelters it's heart breaking.
