The Muppets Most Wanted Movie Review!

I'm so excited to announce that the Muppets are back! The Muppets Most Wanted Movie opens in theaters today March 21st, 2014 in theaters everywhere!

Powered by Mom and family were very lucky we got to see a screening of this movie just a couple of days ago and now we can share our thoughts on this fun movie with you!

Muppets Most Wanted

It's time to get things started, it's time to start the show! Yes the Muppets are back, sequel, sequel and unlike some sequels this one is fantastic! I remember watching the Muppets as a kid and even now I still love watching them. Seriously what's not to love about these quirky characters?! Watching the movie was a bit like a trip down memory lane because I was so excited to see all our favorite muppets, from the smallest part to the big muppets they were all there.

To sum it up I LOVED this movie! It was fun, yet some classic muppet movies, singing and dancing and of course Kermit avoiding the question about marrying Miss Piggy. What I enjoyed the most was watching my 12 year old daughter and one of her best buddies thoroughly enjoying this movie. There were belly busting laughs, giggles and more and these sometimes "too grown up" tweens were not too grown up to enjoy this movie.

My daughter told me her favorite part was when Constantine, the Russian Kermit impostor (you have to see the movie) was "practicing" to be Kermit. He was singing (badly) and was so smug about "nailing" his impression of Kermit. You had to be there to enjoy the moment.

We all enjoyed the many cameos from different well known actors and singers, it was almost a game to see who we could spot doing a cameo.  My favorite was recognizing who "Escape O" was even though he didn't speak a word. He's one of my absolute favorite actors and no I won't tell you who that is! I will give you a hint he's in one of my favorite Marvel movies and I mention him in a post that I wrote about announcing the movie LOL.

Sadly our picture did not come out that great on my iPhone but the girls had fun regardless. My daughter the shorty on the left and her best bud these tweens loved the Muppets!

Muppets Most Wanted

Seriously I could go on and on about how we enjoyed the Muppets Most Wanted. I knew I would like the movie I didn't realize how much we would all love it, that's how much fun it was! Tina Fey was superb you just have to love her and no one could have done Nadya better. Ricky Gervais as the Badguy I mean Badgee (it's French you know) was hilarious he made a perfect addition to this movie!

Okay I could go on and on so I'd better stop but here's a few things I'd like to share with you and some fun things for the kids too!

Just to whet your appetite though here's a sneak peek at the movie.

Activity sheets for you and the kids! My daughter loves these they are a ton of fun!  We will post more of these fun activity sheets soon!

  1. I'm so glad I read your review because I didn't think I would enjoy the movie, being an adult and all, but now that I read your review I think I will rent the movie! It sounds like one of those you shouldn't pass up! I look forward to it, actually. With everything going on in the world lately, it will be nice to have a family movie and just have those belly laughs! Thank you!

  4. I will be taking my grand kids to see this movie, so few good movies for them so I love it when the muppets come out with a new one. I know I always enjoy them as much as the young ones do.
