Powered by Mom is up for the challenge the 24 Day Challenge!

That's right I'm doing a 24 day challenge with Advocare and I'm very excited about it!

I received the bundle pictured below as part of my 24 day challenge, it's full of items that are going to help me through the challenge.

The first 10 days is all about the cleanse where essentially I cut out coffee, all dairy, white flour, white rice, pretty much any white 🙂 and concentrate on veggies, fruits, proteins and complex carbs which consist of healthy whole grains. Cutting out white flour and all the white stuff was not a big deal for me as I'd essentially eliminated those a year ago, I don't eat sandwiches (not a big fan) most of the time and when I do consume bread it's always whole grain bread for myself and my family. The only white bread I like is an Italian or French loaf which we rarely have at home. So that has been all quite easy yay!

Now what's been a little harder is not having any dairy products. I don't drink milk but I do love my yogurt, in fact it's my go to snack and breakfast item I love my yogurt and cheese but I don't usually have cheese everyday not even every week. Yep been missing the yogurt but I've adjusted and have been having oatmeal, eggs and granola with almond milk, alternating between these three has been doing well for me. I thought I would miss coffee more but not as much as I though I would although today I really wanted one lol but I got through and next time I'm craving a coffee I'm going to try the Spark it's an energy drink with my package and is much better for me.

Overall the program is easy to follow as long as you pay attention as to what you must do each day, I had to put it all down in my outlook calendar to remind me as it does change from days after day 4 and again on days 8-10 where you have fiber drink the first 3 days and the last 3 days of the 10 day cleanse. After this day 10 cleanse I can go back to my low fat yogurts and I only eat Greek yogurts which are even better for you!

I will share more after the cleanse and hopefully I will be sharing some great result after the 24 days as well!

  1. I cannot wait to get the feedback on how this goes. I know we all need to do this maybe even once a year, but it is hard.

  2. I have been looking for a cleanse for a year now. LOL I can't find one I think I'll stick with. I love my coffee and I live on yogurt. I don't like greek yogurt. It taste nothing like yogurt to me. I do practice clean eating though. And I do fitness programs.

  4. I don't drink milk, but I do love my yoghurt! I have tried non-dairy yoghurt but it just isn't the same, so even though I want to be Vegan, I haven't gotten there yet. I am sure cutting it out would do me good, but it is so hard. Good for you for trying!

  8. Best of luck to you with the 24 day challenge. Giving up my bread on my zero/ low carbs diet was hard at first but then your body adjust to it, I can have my coffee though just without my good flavored creamer.

  9. I think the caffeine and sugar withdrawals are the hardest. I don't know if this would be enough days. The cleanses I have done are for 30. Let us know how it went.

  10. I want to try a cleanse but I'm not so sure that I can stick to it..this seems nice though since it's not just drinking liquids. I would be so cranky without eating plus wouldn't have enough energy to workout during it.
