  4. If I don't use anti-frizz shampoos & products everyday - I resemble Don King - if you are too young to know who that is - trust me - not a good look!

  5. My husband colored my hair, but it turned out horrible! It had purple tones to it. So, I he went to the store and came home with some kind of color remover. It completely took out ALL the color in my hair. It was platinum and dry as straw. We then had to attempt to put another color on it, then condition the heck out of it. It was a total disaster!!!

  6. The worst !! 2 days after giving birth to my son, I was showering, when suddenly I felt something weird on my feet. I looked down and half my hair lay in the bottom of the shower.

  7. My hair's usually pretty good but my worst hair day has to have been when I went into a salon and asked for a quote "shortish layered cut " and came back out with a buzz-top cut Sergeant Carter would have been proud to own... for all you Gomer Pyle fans out there :+)

  8. When I was younger my Mom was going to cosmetologist school and I was unfortunate enough to be her guinea pig, so I had A LOT of bad hair moments...several bad perms, several short haircuts, and a few curling iron burns here and there...lol!

  13. When I got a too short haircut I couldn't do anything with my hair for months and since it's thick and curly I was trying every type of mousse or gel just to keep it tamed till it grew out!

  14. My worst hair moment, I was maybe 12 and decided to dye my hair. I didn't know what I was doing and bleached it out. It was almost white so I tried to darken it. It turned bright orange. Luckily, it was winter. We had to go to church so I tucked my hair under a hat. My little brother pulled my hat off in front of everyone.

  18. Lol, right now! Staying with this family because it just got a bit bigger (4 kids, 5 and under) and my wild, curly hair must always be perfect(which it's not! :P). The kids here are super-perceptive, and they pick up on everything! With the holidays just around the corner, too, I must keep it looking in tip-top condition, as not to embarrass this family! 😛 [Thanks for the giveaway! ]

  22. I have natural brown hair and many, many years ago I colored it a lighter brown. I went to Florida and by the end of the week, my hair turned blond!! My mom didn't even recognize me when I came home 🙂

  23. Years ago I had a friend who said I'd look good with a coppery color instead of my natural brown. Well, I let him do the
honors and it came out the same color as a cantaloupe. Horrid, horrid. My kids laughed so hard they were crying. They were in their early teens. That was the last time any of my friends came near my hair.

  25. When I was in high school I was also working two jobs. Between work and homework I never got to bed before 2 AM and I always woke up literally minutes before I had to leave for school, so I remember my 11th and 12th grade years being one big, bad hair day! lol
