  2. Our neighborhood sets off firecrackers and small fireworks right at midnight - I love watching the ball drop and then hearing the fireworks go off 🙂

  3. We don't have any traditions, but I think I started one this morning. We cleaned out every cabinet in the house and washed everything in sight. What better way to start the new year than with a clean house?!

  4. here in PA many people eat pork and sauerkraut on New Years Day (it brings good luck).

    so that is what we do every year!

  5. Jumping, wearing something with round stuff and coin throwing! We jump because they said it will make us taller ! The last two are for good lucks! Haha =))

  6. Staying up to watch the ball drop and see the new year in on New Year's Eve and then eating greens and black eyed peas on New Year's Day for prosperity with my family! Happy New Year!

  7. Every New Year's Eve, our entire family (this year 16 of us) have dinner at the local Chinese buffet. The variety pleases everyone and it's reasonably priced. New Year's Day my daughter and my great-nephew (6 mos. apart in age) have a play date while the grown ups get to visit.

  8. My family always goes to bed at our regular time on NYE, and we go do something in the morning on NYD. Usually we have the park, zoo, or wherever we go to ourselves for a few hours while everyone else is sleeping.

  9. i have never had a new years eve without martinellis sparkling cider! this year we walked to walmart in the cold and snow just to get it

  10. I like just spending it to try to Get my new years in prospective and set my goals. Family and friends being around is very inspirational also
