Wow congratulations So Good!
Stop by and say hello to the folks at So Good on their Facebook page HERE
Many people are lactose intolerant, are vegan, or if they’re like me they don’t really care for the taste of milk. I also have a friend for whom soy milk is the only “milk” like beverage that doesn’t upset his stomach. Fortunately for all of us So good beverages also taste sooooo good! Yes I couldn’t resist doing that :). You might have seen my previous post about how impressed I am with how their beverages taste. This coming from someone who did not like any soy milk drinks growing up even though everyone else in my family did like it. To me it used to taste chalky but not any more! My favourite is the vanilla one as I can mix it in my daily smoothies if I want, my porridge and well almost anything!
I was very happy to see that they also now have So Good Omega DHA in original and vanilla flavours yay! Now we can also get our DHA and some other essential nutrients just by consuming So Good. If you don’t know why DHA is so good (I did it again) for us they explain it quite while on their page but I’m including the information for you below. As well the So Good Omega DHA is from a 100% vegetarian source which will make many people very happy unlike the one most of us see which is derived from fish oil, which means no fishy taste in the So Good one 🙂
- DHA is identified by Health Canada as something that supports the normal development of brain, eyes and nerves, and it must be replenished in our bodies throughout our lives. Most Canadians don’t receive an adequate amount of DHA in their diet which makes our new form of Omega-3 DHA a great addition to the So Good family.
- 100% lactose and cholesterol free and low in saturated fat.
- Very high in Calcium and an excellent source of Protein.
I LOVE all the recipes on So Good’s website so many wonderful ideas. All the pictures above are from recipes they’ve shared. Until I had looked at their site I had no idea that I could use So Good for so many recipes! Here’s the next one I’m going to try and make, it’s on their site but for your convenience and to make you drool I”ve decided to include it here too 🙂
- 4 cucumbers, sliced
- 10 radishes, sliced
- 3 green onions
- 3 tablespoons mayo
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- pepper
- salt
- garlic powder
- 2 tblsp So Good Original
- Mix and keep in fridge for about 1 hour to marinate.
