  1. I'm a homemaker, so I don't have to go to work, but I'm also a parent, so our two kids will be spending the day at home with me. I'm sure we will find something fun to do! Thank you for the giveaway!!

  6. Not a 3-day weekend for me, boo! But Friday I took the kids to our local community center. They were having "free play" where you get to run around the gym and use all the equipment they have (hula hoops, roller blades, plasma cars, etc.) So we had a lot of fun with that, and then Saturday we took them to see Alexander and the Horrible, Terrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. Today we are just relaxing and prepping for good ol' Monday (blah!).

  37. Yep, it's a 3-day weekend. But we have no plans! And I like it that way! It means we can tackle some of the projects around the house that were put off because of the holidays. And with the delivery of 50 pallets yesterday, we can now build a shed (out of pallets) to house the hay for our mini horse and mini donkey.

  40. This weekend will be spent getting ready for my first day of college on Tuesday (after being out of school for 24 years), cleaning house and packing. We are getting ready to move. We start moving on February 1st. Thankfully I have lots of time to move since I am taking 16 hours of classes, have an internship to work, have my family to take care of, and work part-time in retail. My son is about to realize what happens when every one in the family has homework from school and how everyone has to pitch in and help around the house. He has been helping me cook dinner, either prep work, stirring pots while I flip the laundry, learning how to measure ingredients correctly for whatever we happen to be making, whether its something for dinner or dessert.

  42. I don't work outside of the home, so the question doesn't really pertain to me. My weekend plans are boring. Not doing anything -- catching up on blog stuff and DVR shows.
