I prepare a healthy snack right before they get home from school. That way, they'll walk in the door and see the delicious, colorful foods right away and start munching. It really helps if I munch, too, because they want to try what Mom's having.
I also hide the sweets and tell them they're all gone. LOL
my daughter is a foodie, she;ll eat anything i give her
I can get my girlies to eat any fruit, but veggies are a bit difficult. Sauces and dips are how I get them to try them.
I wish I knew how to get my daughter to eat veggies. She will eat fruits, but she is not about to tough a vegetable. I guess I can't say much since I am super picky too.
Set a good example and eat them too - they tend to like what you like. 🙂 sometimes anyway!
I hide them in juices or mix it in as a purée in foods
Fruits they love! Veggies on the other hand the ones they don't like I hide them in certain foods
My daughter loves fruits and vegetables... wish I could say the same for meat and milk.
My daughter loves fruits and she likes raw veggies. Wish I could get her to eat more meat.
Smoothies
They eat their veggies as a last resort...talk about a battle...
Luckily, She likes all fruit and most veggies.
Fruitsarenot a problem. Getting them to eat veggies is next to impossible. Thanks for this giveaway.
Never been a problem, but veggies cannot be mushy (better to under cook them).
They aren't aloud to have candy until they eat a fruit or veggie.
Fruits we have no problem with! 🙂 Veggies are a different story! I will usually buy the fruit/veggie combo pouch foods and she will eat those - she's 5 but she loves them! LOL
He actually LOVEA his fruits and veggies. Cauliflower, broccoli, corn, peas, all fruits. He is 4 and has always loved them
u kidding me if he doesnt like it well that;s all it wrote he love brocilli and carrots i really didnt have a problem until i gave him brusell sprouts and a beet one time he just look at me like y mommy but i usually dont have a problem i used to make my little fruit and sliced carrots sallad well shredded carrorts just blend it and use it in every day things
I introduced fruits and vegetables when they were babies and made it consistent. They both like most fruits and vegetables.
Fruits aren't an issue in my household, but I cannot for the life of me get my preschooler to eat vegetables. She even seems to know when they're hidden in food!
I don't have a problem in our family when it comes to fresh vegetables and fruits. Spinach salad with fresh carrots and cucumbers is almost every day on our plate, that is something our kids growing up with eating and they are use to. I believe you need to start from young age. My son only eats raw veggies he doesn't like cooked, my daughter is combination of both. When it comes to fruits i always have a platter on the table with available fruits and remind them to make choices when it comes to snacks, pick fresh fruit over a cracker if they already had too many crackers.
Making fresh orange and grapefruit juice is fun for kids to make and taste so much better than store bought.
I don't have a problem with the fruit for my daughter, veggies on the other hand have to be bribed to eat.
my kids love veggies oh all but peas
I don't have a problem with that my son loves veggies & fruits 🙂 I am very thank ful for that
My grandson is usually good about eating fruits and veggies, but we sneak extras in with Smoothies
My oldest daughter (5) actually likes fruits and veggies.. .but I've become pretty good at hiding them in cookies, soups, pasta (etc)
I never had a problem for the most part, but if they didn't like something it wasn't a big deal.
our 4 year old grandson really loves fruits & veggies....some more than others but he is a good little eater!
I just offer my children different types of fruits and veggies since they were young and they are accustom to them now.
they love dipping anything, so i give them some ranch dressing or something else that would go with the veggies...they love fruit so i don't have any problems with that!
my daughter is 15 so we dont really have to trick her into eating anything new now, she likes to try new things. but when she was little i would mix apples with veggies to get her to eat them, as well as putting a little butter and seasoning on them. she really liked veggies then!
Offer a variety daily
I juice them- well, I also make smoothies- spinach and all
We don't try to convince her to eat anything. She tries a bite of everything and if she doesn't like it, we let it go.
my son loves them so never had a problem. but putting them in a smoothie makes it easier 😉
I never had a problem with eating fruits and veggies, they always liked them. My daughter loves tomatoes, she will eat them like an apple.
I'm fortunate I guess, they really aren't very fussy eaters.
My girls eat fruits and vegetables without any coaxing- they love them. My son takes some convincing- I usually have to put cheese over them or remind him that he can't grow big and strong unless he eats them.
My daughter will usually eat any fruit. Right now we stick to peas, potatoes and broccoli for veggies because those are what she eats.
my daughter loves fruit even more than a cookie but veggies not so much luck
