Finding a good book to read or to give as a gift can be a little overwhelming. There are so many to choose from. I have made a list of seven great books to read from Quarto Knows.

50 Cities of the U.S.A.

With more than 2,000 facts about the people and culture in America, this hardback factual book will have your children seeking to learn more about the great nation of America! From A-Z, you will explore the many cities from as far west as Anchorage, Alaska to as far east as Washington D.C. You will learn about the culture, the food, parks, museums, entertainment, and geography in general.

All Aboard the Discovery Express

This 32-page hardcover book takes children on a journey to find a missing professor. Using time travel, children can join in on the hunt using clues to find the missing scientist. Each page is full of clues. Some clues are hidden behind flip tabs. It is truly an adventure. Along the way, they will be learning about transportation and the history behind it!

Illumanatomy

Have you ever wanted to see what the inside of your body looks like? Pictures can look confusing but what if you could look at the picture as a whole and then broke down by skeletal, muscles, and organs?? With the different color lenses, you can break down what you are seeing in the same photo. Use the red lens to see all the bones, view an x-ray version of all of your organs with the blue lens, and take hold of the green lens to see all the muscles. This is a great book to learn more about your body and how it works.

The Story Orchestra: The Nutcracker

Perfect for Christmas time, the Nutcracker comes to life in this nice, hardcover book. Throughout the book, children can press the music note to hear songs like ‘The Dance of the Reed Flutes’, ‘The Waltz of Flowers’ and ‘The Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy’. The Nutcracker meets a Sugar Plum Fairy, goes on a journey to the Land of Sweets, and even battles the Mouse King.

    I love these books, they are so interesting and can teach kids some great things, I love the Happy Mail book, I think its wonderful to show kids how to communicate through the mail and bring a personal touch back to communications.

    This is a great selection of books that my 2 granddaughters would enjoy reading. I think they would choose the adventure in All Aboard The Discovery to read first.

    I like the first three the best because of how educational they are but with great pictures. Learning about one’s country, transportation, and health are important topics. I’d be interested in browsing and I’m sure finding, a lot more fun Quarto titles.

    These would be nice for both my great niece and great nephew. My great nephew would like the transportation themed books and my great niece would like the art and ballet themed books. I like the selection which can be for more than one child 🙂 I’d even like to read the Happy Mail book! LOL 🙂
