Let's Help Rocco Find a Home! Dog Adoption of the Day #AdoptDon'tShop
Meet Rocco! This one-year-old brindle pit bull and German shepherd mix was originally rescued from Saskatchewan by Coca's Promise
Meet Rocco
If you’re not going to have a pet be indoors with you the majority of the time, give it lots of love, prepared to pay vet bills in an emergency and make a life time commitment then a pet is not for you. This is something we are passionate about and really want to get the message across to adopt not shop and that it’s a lifetime commitment of love!
Information from Rocco's Adoption Post
Since Rocco's arrival, we have gotten to know and love him. He has bounds of energy and is jumpy when excited (which is often). This sweet boy will sit for a treat and likes to run for a ball. He loves walks but he seems to think it's a fun game to try and play tug of war with the leash. He’s very strong so we recommend walking him with a harness.
Rocco is very alert and would be an excellent companion. He would love a big yard to run around in and lots of toys to play with. He gets along with other dogs, but does seem to like the ladies more than male dogs.
Rocco needs an experienced and dedicated guardian who is prepared to spend time with him and teach him to use his energy in a more appropriate way. If you're looking for an active, intelligent and fun challenge of a furry companion
GO HERE to share his story and hopefully help him find a home or better yet please contact the BC SPCA South Okanagan/Similkameen Branch for more information on adopting Rocco.
Rocco seems so sweet. I am always so happy when I hear of a dog or cat getting a good home. I hope for him he gets one.
I agree with Rita! Its a wonderful thing that you are doing to help find Ricco a forever home. All of my dogs are rescue dogs and I couldnt imagine my life with out any of them. I shared this post to help in a small way.
I am happy to see you are advertising to help this dog!! I love animals and think they should all have a home. My uncle just died and had a cat but he lives in Texas. I live in Oregon. So I am trying to see if one of his caretakers or someone will take the poor cat. You are doing a great thing here!
