It’s our Adopt a Pet Post Meet Molly the Dog!
We’re starting a new section on Powered by Mom Adopt Don’t Shop!
If you’re not going to have it be indoors with you the majority of the time, give it lots of love, prepared to pay vet bills in an emergency and make a life time commitment then a pet is not for you. This is something we are passionate about and really want to get the message across to adopt not shop and that it’s a lifetime commitment of love!
We will feature pets across Canada and the United States so read on and feel free to share, you never know who you will reach!
Meet Molly she’s in British Columbia Canada!
Doesn’t Molly look like a a sweetie, such a laid back girl apparently. If you like to give and receive lots of love Molly might be a great match for you!
Molly was brought to the shelter after her owners were no longer able to care for her. Molly is very friendly and affectionate and loves spending time with people. If you’re not too careful, she’s quickly climb into your lap for a good cuddle session! She is quite gentle and easy going and walks well on leash. Like others of her breed, she is social, and a great companion – especially as the nights get colder! Molly may get anxious when left alone for too long a period of time. She will need her new guardian to help her to get used to spending time alone slowly a few minutes at a time and gradually increasing in length. Molly would be best fit in a home where someone is home most of the time because she does get anxious. Molly had bladder stones when she came in and underwent surgery to remove them and she will need to be on a special diet for the rest of her life to keep new stones at bay. Molly is a special girl who will need a special home. Are you that home for Molly?
If Molly is not the perfect match for you, I recommend that you go and check out the other available pets that BC SPCA as available.
