My favorite Mother’s Day was so sweet. My daughter was 9 yr. old and she was going to my ex’s house. I guess she was trying to not leave his new wife out, so she asked me if I had some nice jewelry or something that she could give to Andrea for Mother’s Day. Luckily I was selling Avon at the time so I had something on hand. I can tell you that I couldn’t have been more proud of her.

My favorite Mother’s Day Memory is from my Daughter’s 1st Mother’s Day,1978. She was about 8 weeks old, and we were having a barbeque. There were my Husband & I and baby, my little sister, My Parent’s, My Husband’s Parent’s, and my Grandparent’s had come all the way from Texas to be there. We were able to take a 4 Generation Photo with Great-Grandma, Grandma, Mommy and Baby all in the same photo. That picture is one of my most prized photos ever taken. ♥
TJ Eans says
My last Mother’s Day with my grandmother before she passed — we took her to the park to feed the ducks, something she loved to do, and she smiled and laughed the whole time. It’s that day that I try to think of when I miss her, instead of the sad times when she was so ill.
Lisa Konieczke says
My favorite Mother’s Day before I was a Mother was when I bought my Mother a Mother’s day ring with the 4 birthstones of myself and my Siblings. I was 19 and saved for months to get that for her and it was all worth it to see how happy she was to get it. She wears it still 20 years later. Now, every Mother’s Day is my favorite because there is nothing better than receiving those handmade gift from my 3 young Children. Last year, my 8 year old Daughter brought me a bowl of fruity pebbles for breakfast. She said, “I made you breakfast in bed Mommy.” It was overflowing, pebbles falling over the edge of the bowl but it was wonderful.
