Angelcare Baby Monitor AC1300 Review

Put your mind at ease with the Angelcare Baby Monitor!

Check out this fabulous review by our newest writer Menucha. Read more about her on our About Us page HERE.

“Every new mother has those times when she panics. Is the baby awake?! Is she breathing?

We don’t want to wake them up to check, but admit it – you’ve done it! I know I have. When my baby slept unusually long (six o clock here we come!) for the first time, I went and woke him up. I was afraid of the worst.

Disclaimer: Team member Menucha received this product in exchange for her honest opinion.

angelcare baby monitor

The Angelcare Baby Monitor AC1300 helps mothers get over that panic, and have peace of mind. Its movement sensor will detect if your baby has been totally still for more than twenty seconds and set an alarm.

Baby monitors take us well into toddlerhood too, and are essential throughout. My son has a hard time settling down for naps, and  even knows how to get out of his crib. With the Anglecare baby monitor, I can watch to see if he’s sleeping, know if he actually had a nap, see if he’s climbed out of his crib and needs help getting back in, and even see if he’s already woken up and is calling for me.

angelcare-7About Angelcare:

“Based in Montreal, Angelcare was established in 1997 by founder and president, Mr. Maurice Pinsonnault. Angelcare offers peace of mind by building innovative products of the highest quality in the juvenile market for the everyday life.Angelcare® is renowned for its one-of-a kind patented Sensor Pad, which detects all of baby’s slightest movements.Angelcare® is now sold in almost 60 countries worldwide and is an international award-winning company.”

Beyond reassuring her worries, every mom wants only the best for her baby.

Angelcare’s line of products provides the utmost quality every new mom deserves. From the small details – such as the night light on the camera unit of the AC1300 baby monitor – to the highest standards – such as the comparatively great quality of the monitor screen – Angelcare knows how to treat us moms.

Features of the Angelcare Baby Monitor AC1300:

  • Sensor pad placed under the mattress detects baby’s movement. You can adjust the sensitivity, or even turn it off and use the monitor without it.

angelcare-6

  • You can set up “tic” mode, a test mode that assures you that the monitor is functioning.
  • Sensor pad connects to the video unit with a long cord (which is contained so you don’t have it floating around loose in your nursery.

angelcare-3

  • A 3.5″ LCD screen on the parent unit gives you a great, close up image. It also includes various options and settings. It has a temperature readout too, and the option to set a temperature warning beep for when you hit minimum or maximum temperatures.
  • An easy to use kickstand keeps the parent unit in place on any surface, It’s very slim when folded, as it’s “cut out” of the unit, and therfore folds flat.

angelcare-2

  • The monitor has auto night vision so you can see your child even in a dark room.
  • The video unit has a soft nightlight you can turn on or off. It also has a slider in the back to adjust the angle of the monitor.

angelcare-5

  • Both the parent and video units use micro USB connectivity for power. All chargers are included.

angelcare-4The Angelcare baby monitor can be used as a video monitor with or without the sensor pad. With the sensor pad, it provides priceless peace of mind for new moms. Without, it provides amazing high quality video monitoring from birth through early childhood.

These and many other features make the Angelcare Baby Monitor AC1300 a reassuring choice of monitor for parents. It helps us breathe easy, and keeps us reassured that our children are safe, as we do everything we can to ensure their well being.

I can so relate! My youngest is 3.5 and if he sleeps to long i still am convinced he’s dead…so i am always touching him to make sure he’s still breathing. I have a new baby on the way, this would help reduce the risk of waking the baby up as i’d be able to see it. Also, as stated, you can actually check in on them, make sure they nap, without going in and bothering them.

I woke up one night, on the couch, to a terrifying scream! To find my son hanging thru the rails of his crib. I had to break the crib to remove him, while supporting him with my knee so he did not die from lack of air. We had to put him in a junior bed. It was terrifying, he was less than a year old.

I love that you get to see them and not just hear the baby because this would have been helpful when my kids were little and just because they are laughing doesnt mean everything is going good as I found out the first time my son climbed out of his crib and in no time made a big mess of his room. This would make a great gift for my niece who is expecting a baby in June.

I like the fact that you can adjust the sensitivity of the sensor pad or turn it off. That means if I’m worried the baby is breathing, I can put it at it’s highest sensitivity, or if it is driving me nuts when I’m reassured enough and need to concentrate on work, I can lower the sensitivity or turn it off. I also like the night vision feature. It is good to be able to see a baby’s face and see that they’re okay without risking waking them.

The sensor pad is really great, because I couldn’t tell you how many scary moments that I have, with the non movements, it would a great thing to have, but I must say, that seems like it would be going off quite often, cause most babies do not move, when they are in a dead sleep, unless it detects breathing as movement.

Happy #Easter everyone. Hubby & I went camping and Happy #Easter everyone. Hubby & I went camping and just got back. We took both of our dogs with us and we think we broke them 😆 #CleoTheDog & #NyxTheDog were both soooo tired by around 8:30pm each night that they would go to our trailer door & look at ys waiting to be let in 😁 while we continued to enjoy our campfire 🔥It was great to unplug there is no cell service let alone internet where we go so we enjoyed the beautiful scenery. We are lucky to live in #BeautifulBC. Swipe to see our 📷 more beautiful nature photos to come soon. 🌿🌼#camping #PNW #nature #naturephotography #pnwwonderland #pnwlife #forest #greatoutdoors #campfire #Chilliwack #chilliwackbc #FraserValley
Do you love animals? 😻🐈🐾🐕 Have you bee Do you love animals? 😻🐈🐾🐕 Have you been wanting to help a pet rescue but weren't sure where to start? We share tips on how you can help an animal rescue whether in person or from home with help from the experts at an animal rescue that I volunteer with. *Sponsored* 💕♥️One tip is to donate supplies. 🪀🐈🐩Right now it's kitten season and the rescue I work with the cat department @threelittlepittiesrescue we're being asked to rescue mamas with kittens and kittens without mamas where we need milk replacement like the one from @tailspring which is goats milk based 🐐🍼We had some kittens try it out and they LOVED it! 🐱Check out these tips now by going to the smart.bio/poweredbymom link in our profile where you can find this article and more! 🐈In case you're wondering yes this photo of a mama cat and her kittens are actual kitties that 3LP has taken into their program. 🐱🐈‍⬛ They're not yet available for adoption as the kittens are too young and still need mama. The puppies in the other photos were also rescued by 3LP and I believe they've all found furever homes. 🏡💖😻https://www.powered-by-mom.com/how-to-help-your-local-pet-rescue/#ThreeLittlePittiesSavingKitties #TexasCats #TexasRescu #rescuedog #rescuecats #rescuekitty #rescuekittens #rescuecatsofinstagram #rescuedogsofinstagram #rescuedogs #rescuedogsrock #rescuedogsarethebest #rescuedogofinstagram #rescuedogsarethebestdogs #ilovemyrescuedog #rescuedogmom #rescuecatmom #rescuedoglife #adoptarescuedog #rescuedoglove #rescuedoggy #rescuedogsarebest #lovemyrescuedog #rescuecatlove #HelpAPetRescue #HelpAnimals
