What is your little one's unique personal Style?

Children of all ages show their creativity and imaginations in some many ways. For many girls they show their creative form and self expression through their own unique style. I know when my daughter was starting kindergarten she would want to wear these cute rain boots, not matching pairs though one of each boot so that her left foot and right foot each had a different boot on. She used to say that her left one liked the blue colored boots and her right foot wanted pink polka dots. Who was I to argue with that? 🙂

My daughter's unique style last week was to garden in this tank top and a skort 🙂 whatever makes her happy and I think she looks cute no matter what.

Now that my daughter is 13 year's old she still has her own style like any kid. Some days she's all about the sweatpants and t-shirts and other days she leaves the house with an ensemble that is bright or glittery and sometimes she's all in black. It depends on the mood and that's all good as it's her style. Fortunately for me we don't have the issue of clothes that are too short or too tight so I'm thankful that her style is modest too 🙂

A few years ago my daughter wanted to express her style with some pink in her hair. I think it looked super cute!

  1. My daughter has a very casual style. She is very creative however when sketching and drawing. She enjoys the Design Sketch pads that have the models already drawn in and then you add their outfits and accessories.

  3. The little guy in my life who is nearly 4, has always been opinionated about colours and matching. He even weighs in on his grandparents choice of outfits. Not sure where he gets it.

  5. my daughter has a very unique style - her favorite clothes are her brother's Hand-Me-downs. Her favotire Shirt was a ratty old spiderman shirt, the first time she found it, I remember thinking 'HOW did this even get packed away!? - so Santa brought her a bunch of new superhero shirts, which she LOVES.

  13. My one and only grandaughter likes to dress up with sparkles and shiny things. She likes dresses and skirts a lot and just needs to take better care of her hair. She is letting it grow and everytime she comes visiting, she grabs the brush and does her hair. She knows I am going to say something. She likes to look pretty and I guess her hair style will come in time. 🙂
