People have compared Bared to You to 50 Shades of Grey. Let me tell you I have now read the 50 Shades of Grey trilogy and of course Bared to You and hands down I prefer Sylvia Day's "Bared to You". I personally think the writing is better and the characters came to life for me maybe a little too much sometimes 🙂 but that's a good thing for the writing to capture your attention and imagination. I don't think there is any comparison as Bared to You is in my opinion a very different type of story and is extremely well written. Now more about this scintillating book read on!

BARED TO YOU is the first book in the Crossfire trilogy about Eva Tramell, beautiful yet deeply scarred from events of her past and billionaire  Gideon Cross who owns the building Crossfire in New York where Eva starts her first job after graduating university.

Eva has moved to New York with best friend Cary Taylor, male model who want to love most of the time and shake some sense into him the rest of the time. She's got a stepfather who adores her mother and her mother well she loves Eva but let's say there are issues there.  Eva is headstrong yet vulnerable making her character even more believable. Eva and Gideon run into each other in the lobby of the Crossfire where it seems an instantaneous attraction occurs.

Gideon is used to having is way and he's decided that he not only wants but needs Eva however, Gideon too has something from his past that haunts him but also starts to cause a rift between him and Eva. The characters really came to life for me and I think I'm infatuated with Gideon sshhh don't tell my husband.

What has happened to Gideon in the past that could so affect him and that he's not able to talk about? It's story lines like this that keep you in suspense, wanting more but you will have to wait for for the second book in the trilogy "Reflected in You" available October 2012 to find out more!

I'm not the only one who thinks Bared to You by Sylvia Day is a great book check this out:

Overall Bared to You receives a 5 out of 5 stars from Powered by Mom for a reasonable price for a book ($9 on Amazon) quality writing and capturing my attention! As an avid reader I can be demanding so if a book doesn't capture my attention right away I usually do not finish it. As mentioned though this book is in my opinion only for those 18 years & over and I made sure not to leave it lying around so that my 10 year old who could read everything in the book didn't have the chance.

  7. My favorite book of all time? That's really hard but I think it still has to be the first fairy tale I ever had, Cinderella.

Sylvia Day is a great author; I love her books. I've read a few already and her Eve or Dream Guardians I series sound really interesting, so I'd like to pick them up
