Definitrly like choice #2!!
I vote for option #2 - I love what you've done - the colors are perfect. It looks very inviting.
It's a difficult choice, because the gold is really nice too, but I'm leaning toward Option #1, Sinatra. I'm a big fan of silver.
I havent seen any recent pics of your renovated bathroom!! Are you finished or still in the process of remodeling it??? I would love to see some recent pics!!
Hi NIcole, nope I have't posted anything more recent as we're stalled a bit, hubby is sick :(. We've got to do around the shower/tub and then the accessories. Next picture will be the completed bathroom I hope 🙂
I vote for choice #2
Just keep it in the bathroom please! I'm kidding. I wouldn't go with either. I'm not fond of sequence. I do prefer the gold out of the two. The room looks great!
I like them both but #2 may look like you were trying to match colors and it isn't quite the same, and also too much of the same light brown/tans. So I pick #2 Sinatra.
Wow! Your bathroom looks amazing! I wish my bathroom was as spacious as your! The colors are great together! Great Job!
thanks Darlene 🙂 not sure I'd call it spacious but we're liking the almost finished look
I think they're both pretty sets, but I like #1 for your bathroom. (and am I the only one who sees the humor in all the #1 & #2 talk in the bathroom post comments!?) 🙂
lol Gigi you're the first one to say it, I thought it but then I have a wacky sense of humor 🙂
I think since the counter and floor are more in the earthy theme (clay pot with soil-counter, floor -tan), I would try and fin something else because I think the 2 options you have would clash and not be friendly to the eye.... I think you should either find something with colors that are close to the other colors in the bathroom (even the walls) or look into neutral tones such as lighter tans, cremes, or even greys that have a top to bottom or bottom to top pattern of lighter to darker.....
The half and half blend trick usually works very well when getting subtle accessories... even shower curtains can have a nice effect if it is a little darker or lighter than everything else in the room, it doesn't necessarily have to "match" but you do want to try and get it the same, color-wise, as the rest of your bathroom....
These are just suggestions,...please feel free to use what you already have, if you like it more :3
I like Sinatra (#1) (From a distance -I initailly liked option 2 better but when looking at the close ups of the floor and counter I definately sway more towards 1-it seems to mesh better with the other colors) Both are gorgeous though so I think you'll love it either way
I like the Sinatra set better.
i would love my bathroom to look like that.
i like 2! 🙂
GO WITH OPTION #2
The golden set work.
I would go with #1
I like option 2
#2 - it's warmer. But both are really pretty!
I really like #2 with the color and gold. But #1 is really pretty too. I usually go for silver over gold, so if the sequins pattern had silver in it that would be my top choice. I'm just not a gold person, but I love the colors.
i like option number 1
I would go with the #2 selection, Sequins, because with all of your dark wood, it needs that gold bling in there to make it feel warm and cozy! Y'all are doing a great job!
I WOULD GO WITH THE SECOND OPTION....
I would go with #2 ...gold with the browns would be very striking and compliment both the vanity and the flooring. Actually you could go either way as #1 would pick up the grays in the vanily. geeze...I so hate making decisions like that. Wouldn't it be a wonderful world if we just had designers come in while we took a mini-spa vacay till everything was done...i only wish..... good luck...I'm sure it will turn out well. It's already great looking now.
lol Mikki hence my hard time choosing
the second option. is prettier
My vote is #2, but only because of the color. I wouldn't include the sequins themselves.
Personally, I prefer silver to gold. BUT, I think SEQUINS is going to better compliment your color scheme. Can't wait to see the end but if it includes a whirlpool garden tub, please hide it from my view. 😉 I had one for about 6 mos when we were between houses & I miss it dearly!
I really like the Sequins. I think that the gold color will tie in with the granite better, plus it's a little unexpected. However, the Sinatra is really cute too so I don't think you'll go wrong either way.
Since you bathroom is black, you can go with either, but I'd personally think the Sinatra is a much classier look.
I like the Silver #1 Sinatra, I don't believe it will get as old looking as gold assessories see to. Going to be great which ever one you chose..
I vote for Sequins because I like the pops of color.
choice one all the way
My Vote is #2!!
I like the Sequins, it stands out a little bit better to me and looks good with the rest of the accessories.
Sequin 2. Beautiful Bathroom! I wouldn't want to leave it.
I am all about #1 Sinatra to play off the dark browns. 🙂 Loving this reno/redo.
i think option #1
sequins. I like the extra bit of color it gives and the brightness
I love the vanity Granite!
I love sequin #2 style!
awesome voice for the vanity granite - beautiful choice
I hope I'm not too late to put in my two cents' worth. I like the grey (#1). It's a pretty shade, and not too dark. And because it's neutral, you'll be able to add color with accessories, which you can swap out whenever you need a change.
Thanks Anne for your vote and no it's not too late 😉
totally the silver!
Since the bathroom is somewhat smallish, I think I would choose the Sequins to help lighten and brighten up the space.
#1 Sinatra
I like choice one the best. I thought that grey would look nice before I even scrolled down to see the choices.
Love the Sinatra!
You are giving me so many great ideas when we remodel our bathroom this summer!!
I like Sinatra color/style; you are doing well in project.
I love following your blog posts! I hope one day I can re-due my horribly outdated bathroom!
Thanks Cassandra and I will cross fingers that you can redo your bathroom one day too 🙂
I would choose #2. I think it's a more subtle than the Sinatra and it's a good idea to choose the contrasting color.
I actually like #2, it gives it a pop of color 🙂
Your bathroom has come along nicely! I really like the color of granite you've chosen! I would say accessory choice #1 would go along with the overall color of the room better than the other.
i like the top pic with the sinatra.
they all look great! #1 though is awesome
I love the grey floor with lightbrown stripes! Can you come over and redo my bathroom, lol!!
lol Lisa 🙂
I love your flooring! I would choose exactly the same one.
I vote for the first option (grey). Gold and grey are really clashy and make me sad (sorry...).
lol Beth no reason to be sorry 🙂 it seems silver is winning out which is what I was leaning towards but wasn't sure with the dark brown cabinets and granite 🙂
Love the bathroom renovations! I like both color choices but if I had to choose, I would probably go with #1
Love your site! Thanks for all the helpful hints and tips!
you are welcome Cassandra
I like option 2. love the colors.
The Sinatra is gorgeous! I'll have to keep that in mind!
Definitely #1!!!!
I love your sink & faucet. I like #1 Silver Sinatra. I think it'll look good with the brown. It's looking good so far 🙂
I would go with number 1 also!
choice #2. Good luck.
I'm a big fan of dark. Dark granite and cabinets. I like Option #1 also
I would say the sequins because it appears to have your gray(silver), and the brown(gold), or something else....it just feels like you need to pull in the beautiful golden brown from the granite!
I really like the Sinatra better, and it's just neutral enough that it won't look dated real fast. The second option is really pretty and would bring more color, but I wonder if the color combo would look dated in a very short time.
My vote is option #1. 🙂
thanks for your vote chrissy 🙂
