Powered by Mom Blog is curious do you own a Safe?
We’ve had a couple of giveaways on Powered by Mom Blog for safes which were always very popular. It made me wonder how many people own a safe especially when one of the questions that we asked was what would people keep in the safes. A couple of the most popular answers were documents like birth certificates, jewelry and believe it or not guns. The last answer surprised me not because people wanted to keep guns in the safe which is of course a great idea that’s where they should be in my opinion. It surprised me because I wondered did that mean they weren’t being kept currently in a safe?
If that’s the case I find that a wee bit scary but then again I don’t have all the details so what do I know :)? I wanted to share some information on biometric safes as these look pretty darn cool and I thought that they were quite reasonable. For example the one picture above is only $120.95 which I think considering the technology is very cool indeed. This Biometric lock can be programmed to accept up to 32 different fingerprints–provides greater security and quicker access to the safe’s contents. Also includes an electronic lock and hidden trouble key, how does that sound?
If you have any valuables or just anything you don’t want anyone to get into without your knowledge I think that’s a very reasonable investment. So whether it’s for your documents, jewelry or yes even your gun it might be worth checking out one of these biometric safes.

Sounds like a very interesting idea. I do not own a safe, but have certainly thought about it for protecting those valuable documents and also treasured photos. Ideally I would get a fireproof one too for storing data backups.
I assume that these work with multiple “keys” – i.e. they will not open with just a finger print? As that could be easily obtained from the owner.
