  1. My birthday was on August 26th, and my husband passed away on September 25th 🙁 Usually, we'll have a nice dinner together but to be perfectly honest, I can't recall what we did on my birthday.

  2. My birthday this year isn't until December. My family is out-of-state......so, hopefully, I will receive some presents and cards in the mail to open.

  3. I had Strep throat a few days before my birthday, so we had to wait a few days for birthday dinner, picked up and eaten at home.

  4. My birthday was in January so I was fortunate to celebrate with my boyfriend and a few of our close friends. We made hot dogs, mac & cheese, and fries. We just kept it simple, cheap, and played card games. I am so glad we got to spend time with our friends before the rest of this year went up in smoke.

  5. I turned 40 years old in September. My husband and kids made me a birthday cake and crafts. It was just nice to be with my family.

  6. We went to New Orleans for my birthday. It was in February right before everything tuned upside down. I had a wonderful time. I absolutely love New Orleans.
