I would say my childrens backpacks probably weigh at least 10 pounds! The middle school makes them carry around a 3 inch binder, so that with a few books is pretty heavy to be lugging around.

it usually weights the same as they do or less, last year my sons weightier 25 pounds it was insane, I know my sisters is 50 pounds she has to carry all her books with her every single day because they don’t have lockers
