Show That Special Someone They're a "Real Catch" with a Meal at Bonefish Grill

There are some places you walk into and you know you've just hit on something very special. Bonefish Grill is one of those places. No matter how many times I grace their doors, it's always a pleasure!

Bonefish Grill

We've added Bonefish Grill to our Holiday Gift Guide.  Check it out HERE!

About Bonefish:

At Bonefish Grill, we do things a little differently. It all began in January 2000 in St. Petersburg, Florida, where our founders, Tim Curci and Chris Parker, opened the very first Bonefish Grill, fueled by their shared love for catching, cooking and serving fresh fish.

Bonefish Grill was founded on perfecting every detail for you, because we believe that a great meal is more than just food on a plate. It is the entire experience from start to finish, from our seasonal fresh fish, to our hand-crafted cocktails, to our personalized, memorable service. That is the Bonefish Way.

There is a certain ambiance that encompasses Bonefish Grill that can't be described with words, you have to experience it. From the friendly "Anglers" (Wait Staff) to the food presentation and everything in between - it's not just a meal, it's an experience. My family recently visited the Bonefish in Cary, NC (huge shout out to the staff - fantastic service!) and like every visit before, we left feeling a little lighter on our feet (but not in our bellies 😉  ).

Here's a rundown on the dishes we enjoyed:

For starters we enjoyed the Imperial Dip – tender shrimp, bay scallops, lump crab and lemon caper butter, served with seasoned house made tortilla chips - Oh MY! We may or may not have embarrassed ourselves with how quickly we devoured this yummy appetizer! So full of rich flavor - this is a must when you visit Bonefish, but hurry - it's only there for a limited time!

Bonefish Grill

Dad had the Crab Cake appetizer. His only complaint was there wasn't enough! The texture and flavor was spot on. They were kind enough to add a small order of fries on the side to accompany the Cakes. He gave this appetizer a big thumbs up!

Bonefish Grill

I ended my day with a bang - Bang Bang Shrimp that is. To be honest, this dish is what keeps me coming back to Bonefish. These little bites of Heaven never disappoint. Tasty and seasoned to perfection.

My eldest man child enjoyed the Filet Mignon with a side of the Crab Fried Rice. We didn't hear a peep from him from the moment his plate was sat in front of him. We saw a grin and nothing short of love in his eyes. I'm not sure but I think it just may have been love at first bite... (sorry - I had to 🙂  ).

Bonefish Grill

We finished off the meal by sharing the Macadamia Nut Brownie. I really can't even put into words the little bites of deliciousness that this dessert holds. I will just say, we will not be sharing one the next time we visit Bonefish Grill!

  1. I haven't eaten at Bonefish Grill. I just assumed they were another chain restaurant. Sadly, these days service in restaurants are just perfunctory with the waiters expecting tips no matter how lacking the service is. The last time I ate out the waitress didn't even offer to refill my drink. I like that Bonefish Grill gives an experience not just a meal. As a bonus the food sounds fresh and delicious.
