There are really so many great things anyone can do! Those posts are really wonderful that people have posted! I do the Angel Tree gifts at Christmas & help people in line at the grocery store if they're short money or even their store rewards card. Also if a friend from church hears of anybody coming out of rehab & moving into their own apartment, I help out with anything I can: linens, silverware, glasses, plates, bowls, mugs, pancake turners, wooden spoons, clothes, shoes, knick knacks. We're always giving clothes to Goodwill too, as we go to yard sales & buy clothes that we think any of us would like & sometimes it just ends up not being something we like, so we donate!
I crochet hats and scarves all of the time and give them away to people who I barely know.
