Currently, my aunt has been diagnosed with cancer and it was such heartbreaking news for all of us to find out. Shortly after, her husband left her and her daughters have now been married off and she gets very lonely. She went through chemo and in our culture, our long hair is a sign of beauty and so she was very sad about so I decided to shave my head as well for support to know that I will always be there for her and that she is not fighting this fight alone. Hopefully, the cure for cancer will one day be found!

My Step Mom and Grandpa both died from Cancer. I was only about 15 when my gpa passed and it was really hard for me, especially since I was working in a retirement home at the time (I had to quit because I couldn’t watch the people there without thinking of him everyday). I was 22 and just had my first daughter when my step mom passed. It was really had to watch her go through the nastiness of cancer and I thank God that her struggle is over and that she’s with the Father now 🙂

Unfortunately I have supported too many family members. My aunt passed from breast cancer, I have an aunt in remission (breast cancer) and an uncle in treatment right now (also breast cancer that spread to his lung). I have an aunt that was just diagnosed with breast cancer 2 weeks ago and an aunt in the final stages of lung cancer right now.

Yes I have. My dad has pancreatic cancer and he found out a few days ago that it spread to his liver. The doctor told us that he has about 6 months to live. I wish I could be with him right now but he lives in Oregon and I live in California. And when he found out he has 6months left he told me to move up there so me and my kids can spend whatever time he has left with him. And I just don’t have the money to move up there or I would be there right now. My mom passed away a few years ago from a heartattack. So we didn’t have time to say goodbye but with my dad its different. We can be there to support him, spend time with him, let him know how much we all love him. And when he found out he has 6months left he told me to move up there so me and my kids can spend whatever time he has left with him.

She didn’t get to see her kids marry or meet her grandchildren. Her husband died 3 years later at 55 probably from a broken heart. They were real close.

My grandmother had cancer in her intestines. Luckily it was detected on time. She had surgery, where they removed part of her intestine. After more than 10 years, we can say she won the fight against cancer.
My grandfather had cancer in the prostate. He went to radiotherapy; were rough times. The side effects of radiotherapy were devastating. Now he still going to medical surveillance to assure that cancer cell will not appear again. But so far, at a the age of 84, he’s managing the disease well.

My Grandmother, My Grandfather, My Uncle, My Aunt, My Godmother. Those are just off the top of my head. I wish the list was shorter, and that more of them had beaten it and survived.

We took both of our dogs with us and we think we broke them 😆 #CleoTheDog & #NyxTheDog were both soooo tired by around 8:30pm each night that they would go to our trailer door & look at ys waiting to be let in 😁 while we continued to enjoy our campfire 🔥It was great to unplug there is no cell service let alone internet where we go so we enjoyed the beautiful scenery. We are lucky to live in #BeautifulBC. Do you love animals? 😻🐈🐾🐕 Have you bee Do you love animals? 😻🐈🐾🐕 Have you been wanting to help a pet rescue but weren't sure where to start? We share tips on how you can help an animal rescue whether in person or from home with help from the experts at an animal rescue that I volunteer with. *Sponsored* 💕♥️One tip is to donate supplies. 🪀🐈🐩Right now it's kitten season and the rescue I work with the cat department @threelittlepittiesrescue we're being asked to rescue mamas with kittens and kittens without mamas where we need milk replacement like the one from @tailspring which is goats milk based 🐐🍼We had some kittens try it out and they LOVED it! 🐱Check out these tips now by going to the smart.bio/poweredbymom link in our profile where you can find this article and more! 🐈In case you're wondering yes this photo of a mama cat and her kittens are actual kitties that 3LP has taken into their program. 🐱🐈‍⬛ They're not yet available for adoption as the kittens are too young and still need mama. The puppies in the other photos were also rescued by 3LP and I believe they've all found furever homes. 🏡💖😻https://www.powered-by-mom.com/how-to-help-your-local-pet-rescue/#ThreeLittlePittiesSavingKitties #TexasCats #TexasRescu #rescuedog #rescuecats #rescuekitty #rescuekittens #rescuecatsofinstagram #rescuedogsofinstagram #rescuedogs #rescuedogsrock #rescuedogsarethebest #rescuedogofinstagram #rescuedogsarethebestdogs #ilovemyrescuedog #rescuedogmom #rescuecatmom #rescuedoglife #adoptarescuedog #rescuedoglove #rescuedoggy #rescuedogsarebest #lovemyrescuedog #rescuecatlove #HelpAPetRescue #HelpAnimals
