This 10x15 portable, pop-up gazebo was easy to set up and now when we want to get out of the hot sun we can as we have the perfect oasis!  It also has mesh panels for all sides so if there are too many flying pests outside we can pull close all the mesh panels to help keep them out. Doesn't get better than that!

I LOVE this gazebo and is it a wonder why just look at it! It looks great, has everything we need, covers a large area and is easy to take down too!

Gazebo July 2014

I do have to admit that when we first went to go and put this gazebo up we were slightly puzzled. The frame comes put together accordion style. We knew we had to stretch it apart and push it up but it didn't work at first. Turns out we had one of the rods stuck but when my hubby discovered that he quickly popped it in place and from there it was easy street. Below you can see the "accordion" frame.

One thing to remember to make it easier make sure you follow the instructions and put the top cover on top of the frame so that when you start to pull it out and up the cover gets pulled onto the frame and stretches with it. If you don't do that don't worry all is not lost, just don put it up to full height so that he don't need a step ladder to put the top covering on.

Here's what it looks like without any of the side panels

We've had some hard rain falls since we put this gazebo up but it kept everything underneath it nice and dry which I love. We won't be keeping it up during the fall and winter but it's nice to know that it keeps things dry as well as shaded.

The day of our barbeque on the July 4th weekend we had rain in the morning and the weather couldn't make up it's mind for the evening. Fortunately we weren't too worried as we had this fabulous gazebo that we knew would keep us dry. We were lucky in the end it didn't rain and we still enjoyed the gazebo and our BrylaneHome gazebo lanterns provided us with a nice soft light when it got dark out.

  1. I've always loved Brylane Home products, and I've had my eye on their gazebos for a long time. I love yours, it looks like it's got so much more room than the one we have that we're looking to replace. The mesh sides are a huge plus since we use it camping (lots of mosquitos!) and in our yard (in the woods and also lots of pests!). I think this will be our replacement.

  2. I would love to have one of these in my backyard. I live in the south and the shade that this would provide would be awesome when we cook out.

  3. I love these Gazebos. I'd love to have one in my sisters yard for when we have bbqs and family holidays. You have a nice big backyard. I have a patio but it's small but ok for just me. Someday hopefully I can win something like this 🙂

  4. This gazebo is so neat. I would love to have one for here to sit in and enjoy the outside without being bothered by bugs. Yours looked really pretty with the lights lit up.

  5. I love that night time photo of the gazebo all lighted up! We've often thought about how wonderful one of these would be for our yard as our deck is completely uncovered and there's no shade for really hot days.

  6. While gazebos are excellent, the winds here in western Colorado make this a worrisome idea. I have a swing set that the cushions blow off of at least once a week, and I put out solar lights on a wire that broke into six pieces the first season. The wind just blows here. Otherwise it is pretty much great, but we do have a lot of wind.

  8. Growing up, we always had a screen tent set up on our back patio in the summer. (With all the flies and insects we got, the patio wouldn't have been useable otherwise.) The tent was ugly and would fall down if it rained too hard or got too windy. If only they made something as nice as this gazebo back then. And it looks super easy to put up, too. Thanks for the review!

  14. I would love to have something like this. We have a small "gazebo" like structure in our backyard but the bugs are so bad that we have to go inside past 6pm. I'd love to get something with a net.

  15. I love that it's screened in. The bugs usually keep me indoors when I'd sit out. I don't like having to douse myself in bug spray. Also, perfect for sitting out in the rain.
