Powered by Mom Blog is curious what do you like to use for your television entertainment?
For those who like to watch television there are so many choices out there from cable to dish sattelite tv that it’s so hard to decide what to get! Where we live when we first moved in we only had the choice between one cable provider and a few sattelite providers. Some of the larger cable companies in our area that we knew and were used to from where we previously lived didn’t service our new area. So we didn’t have as many choices for cable but we had more choices for satellite television.
We ended up going with the one cable company that was allowed to service this area as it was easier and at the time the sattelite options were more expensive. Fortunately this has changed and now all options are quite competitive and the one cable provider no longer has the monopoly in our area. It is so difficult though to decide who to go with if we do decide to switch as everyone has something to offer but to me in some ways it’s like comparing apples to oranges as they don’t all offer the same package.
We did try sattelite television about five years ago but the service in our area was still a bit limited and we are surrounded by a forest and even several pine trees in our yards, our neighbours yards etc.. so that sometimes we didn’t always get a signal. I did however love the fact that we had so many channels to select from that when we did have time to watch tv there was always something to find. We’ve heard that the sattelite signals are so much better now for area and of course there are at least double the number of sattelite television companies to select from so now we have to figure out who offers what and what we want at a price we can afford 🙂
What do you look for when you’re deciding who to go with for your television entertainment? For me it has to have PVR because I never have time to actually watch the shows when they are on. Feel free to comment we’d love to hear from you!
I was compensated for this post but as always all opinions are 100% my own.
