Captain America: Civil War opens in theaters May 6, 2016

Are you Team Cap or Team Iron Man? Captain America: Civil War opens tomorrow.

Powered by Mom & family are going to see this awesome movie for Mother's Day!

Choose your team as this action-packed MARVELous movie is here in less than 24 hours and we couldn't be more excited. Personally I'm Team Cap but it was hard for me to choose that team as I'm a huge Marvel fan as it is and love all the heroes and heroines on both teams. They each have their own special thing.

Yes we love Marvel so much that I told my family that I wanted to go and see Captain America: Civil War for Mother's Day and that's just what we're doing. We purchased our tickets for the IMAX theater and we are set for Mother's Day. My daughter said she's going to wear her Captain America t-shirt (see below) and hubby said he's wearing his SpiderMan shirt hmm does that mean he's Team Iron Man? I think mom needs a Marvel shirt, what's up with that, I got them their shirts but mom has nothing hmmm.

From Marvel:

Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in twocamps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability. Get ready to pick a side and join the nonstop action playing out on two fronts when Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” opens in U.S. theaters on May 6, 2016.

  1. We saw this and really enjoyed it. My husband was not sure if he would like it, but it was done really well and the story was quite exciting.

  2. It's almost the end of the year and I finally have time to see some movies. I'm a big Robert Downey Jr fan, so hoping to see this one. I love most all the super hero films though. I can only catch The Flash on TV now and then, so that will have to do for now.

  3. I was really happy with the movie. I had a really stressful time with taking care of my parents, and was reading graphic novels to relax. I loved the Civil War series, and was happy with the movie. I do recommend reading the graphic novel, as it gives more background and complexity to the story.

  4. After watching Captain America - Winter Soldier, I realized that I like the separate Avenger movies a lot better than the Avengers (as a group) films. The Avengers movies feel, I don't know, "forced" to me. Like the writers are trying to put too much into one movie. "BLOATED!" That's the word I'm looking for! The singles (Thor, Cap'n, Ant-Man, etc.) seem to have better story lines.

After watching "Civil War", I know that people who haven't kept up with the single character movies and a bit of S.H.I.E.L.D. will feel lost watching this movie, though. Definitely not a stand-alone move. Loved it, though =)

  5. Our family loves good clean action movies, however we find the Captain America, and most Marvel productions a little too unbelievable

  6. Why choose sides? There are pros and cons to both. They complement each other. Should I have to choose, though, it would be Team Iron Man.

  9. we haven't seen this yet. i'm sure we'll end up redboxing it. i'm team iron man, but i'm really curious about the dynamics of this. how the individuals chose their sides and how it broke up some of the smaller alliances. i heard it was one of the best movies to come out, so i hope that's true!
