I would give this laptop to my mom. She's living 6+ hours away from me (her only child) and her 4 grandchildren and she has a very, very slow computer that won't allow her to use Facebook. If she had this laptop she could Skype with us and see her grand babies pictures on Instagram, Facebook, and maybe even learn to use Pinterest too! She would love it!

I could really use this for school-I take classes online ,and my current computer is aging fast!.
Install current versions of Ubuntu and firefox. Try out open-source games. Watch netflix. Listen to cds in a *working* cd drive (imagine!) Happily waste hours on the internet. I'd seriously consider getting Steam and lose days of my life playing Skyrim.

I'm going to college in the summer and winning the Chromebook would help me take notes accurately. It's difficult going to school with a learning disability and this would aid in my success.
