Cuisinart Tabletop Gas Grill & Grill Set Review

in Family and Home on 05/19/15

Powered by Mom Shares her Cuisinart Tabletop Gas Grill & Grill Set Review

I was able to start my summer grilling with the Cuisinart All-Foods 12,000-BTU Gourmet Stainless Steel Tabletop Gas Grill and Stainless Steel Grill Set that they sent me. I love to cook food on the grill, everything just seems to taste better and because any fat is drips off the food it’s a healthier way to eat. I’m not one for bbq sauce but I do love use spices yum yum!

We liked the idea of the Cuisinart All Foods Gas Grill because not only does it provide a12,000 BTU stainless steel loop burner, a heat distributing panel, and a porcelain enamel coated cast iron cooking grate it’s portable! That’s right this awesome grill is compact so it could be used for smaller yards, patios and because it has carry handles we can take it with us to picnics, camping or wherever we want!

cuisinart grill closed

As you can see in the picture above it has two side shelves which are quite sturdy. I’ve put full sized plates on each side and it held them no problem. You’ll be able to see in one of my pictures below just how much this grill can hold. One of my favorite things about the Cuisinart Grill besides it’s portability is the porcelain enamel coated cast iron cooking grate, it’s easy to clean and food cooks on it like a dream. It also came with an tray to use on the grill which I like to use for the meat, especially chicken to help prevent charring with flames.

For such a compact grill there is a lot of grilling surface, you can pretty much cook whatever you want on this handy grill.

grill 1

To give you an idea of just how much it can hold I of course have to show you a picture with some food on it. The gas is not going yet as taking a picture while the food is cooking is a bit challenging. I didn’t want to have smoke in the picture as I want you to see and appreciate how much cooking surface there is on this grill. Those pork chops are big, in fact the one at the end is the size of two pork chops, I could have fit at least two more just on that removable tray. As you can see I als have four foil wrapped potatoes and again there’s still lots of room.

grilling meat and potatoes

With this portable Cuisinart Grill there’s no worry about whether or not you have enough room to cook an entire meal for your family, unless you’ve got a really big family 😉 The All Foods Gas Grill features Cuisinart’s unique Versatile Modular Grill Surface system, which is a series of interchangeable specialized grill surfaces suited to frequently grilled foods, such as veggies, breads & pizzas, and delicate foods. The panels mate securely to the cooking surface, yet remove quickly and easily for cleaning and storage. I can attest to the fact as mentioned that the removable plates were very easy to clean, that’s just as important to me since I’m the one who usually cleans them.

Below you can see the full size dinner plate I used on the foldable side tray, lots of room for food prep.

Other features you should know about:

  •  precision temperature gauge
  • Cuisinart TwiStart Ignition system
  • removable drip tray.

CUICGG200

Of course grilling would not be complete without a good set of grilling tools and Cuisinart does not disappoint. I love this set and it’s the first one I’ve ever owned that has corn holders, smart move. We all know what it’s like to pick up a hot corn on the cob and try it to eat it.

grill tools

I can’t believe this is the first set I’ve had with corn holders, love it. It’s made of good quality stainless steel and besides the four corn holders comes with: stainless steel tools includes a Chef’s Spatula, Grill Tongs, Silicone Basting Brush, Cleaning Brush, and Extra Cleaning Brush Head. If your’e going to have a top quality portable grill you should also have a top quality grill set!

Both of these Cuisinart items get a two thumbs up for us for quality and practicality, thanks BuyDig!

Thank you. I will check out buydig’s offer on these products. I love the heavy metal grate on the grill, I never did like the thin aluminum ones.. I would rather cook on cast iron a grill. It gets hotter, holds heat longer and makes better grill markers in my opinion. thanks again!

Thank you for such a fine, thoughtful and informative review! Almost too good ~ since I was kind of half-hoping you’d give me some kind of reason to not want it so much ~ not wanting to splurge and give it to my most deserving Honey/Hubby for Father’s Day! But EVERYTHING about this grill is, well, PERFECT ~ and just what we need/want…

I should add that I have been using Cuisinart products ever since they first came out in the USA with their AMAZING Cuisinart Food Processor: I had just started my own tiny fledgling catering business and my Dad gave it to me as a “business warming gift.”

I have used and loved MANY MANY Cuisinart products since then/over the years and have never been disappointed in one! If I can swing it financially ~ I’d love to give this wonderful him (us) very versatile grill.

We had a table top gas grill which we used when we were in the RV (We cooked outside but kept the grill on the RV) and it is really small but did the job! Happy #Easter everyone. Hubby & I went camping and Happy #Easter everyone. Hubby & I went camping and just got back. We took both of our dogs with us and we think we broke them 😆 #CleoTheDog & #NyxTheDog were both soooo tired by around 8:30pm each night that they would go to our trailer door & look at ys waiting to be let in 😁 while we continued to enjoy our campfire 🔥It was great to unplug there is no cell service let alone internet where we go so we enjoyed the beautiful scenery. We are lucky to live in #BeautifulBC. Swipe to see our 📷 more beautiful nature photos to come soon. 🌿🌼#camping #PNW #nature #naturephotography #pnwwonderland #pnwlife #forest #greatoutdoors #campfire #Chilliwack #chilliwackbc #FraserValley
Do you love animals? 😻🐈🐾🐕 Have you bee Do you love animals? 😻🐈🐾🐕 Have you been wanting to help a pet rescue but weren't sure where to start? We share tips on how you can help an animal rescue whether in person or from home with help from the experts at an animal rescue that I volunteer with. *Sponsored* 💕♥️One tip is to donate supplies. 🪀🐈🐩Right now it's kitten season and the rescue I work with the cat department @threelittlepittiesrescue we're being asked to rescue mamas with kittens and kittens without mamas where we need milk replacement like the one from @tailspring which is goats milk based 🐐🍼We had some kittens try it out and they LOVED it! 🐱Check out these tips now by going to the smart.bio/poweredbymom link in our profile where you can find this article and more! 🐈In case you're wondering yes this photo of a mama cat and her kittens are actual kitties that 3LP has taken into their program. 🐱🐈‍⬛ They're not yet available for adoption as the kittens are too young and still need mama. The puppies in the other photos were also rescued by 3LP and I believe they've all found furever homes. 🏡💖😻https://www.powered-by-mom.com/how-to-help-your-local-pet-rescue/#ThreeLittlePittiesSavingKitties #TexasCats #TexasRescu #rescuedog #rescuecats #rescuekitty #rescuekittens #rescuecatsofinstagram #rescuedogsofinstagram #rescuedogs #rescuedogsrock #rescuedogsarethebest #rescuedogofinstagram #rescuedogsarethebestdogs #ilovemyrescuedog #rescuedogmom #rescuecatmom #rescuedoglife #adoptarescuedog #rescuedoglove #rescuedoggy #rescuedogsarebest #lovemyrescuedog #rescuecatlove #HelpAPetRescue #HelpAnimals
