Custom Comfort in a Weatherproof Women's Boot

It's that time of year again when I want nothing more than a warm pair of boots with good traction to tackle the upcoming winter. And while we have yet to even see really cold weather here in Kansas, let alone snow, the cold, snow, and ice will inevitably come. And this year I'm prepared with the custom comfort of Barbara Boots from Therafit.

So Simple

Custom Comfort in a Weatherproof Women's Boot

Let me be clear, I love boots. I would wear them all the time if I had the patience for it. Most of the time, however, I just want to throw my shoes on and go. I don't want to spend time lacing everything up just to walk across the street to the mailbox. So usually I end up putting on some slip-on loafers of some sort and freeze my toes off to go get the mail in inadequate shoes. Thankfully the Barbara Boot can easily slip on and zip up the side. Nothing else! It's quick and easy and I love it.

Yes, they look like boots, but they are nice. The faux fur trim is so soft and really accents the silver-grey boot. I like the quilted pattern upper and the suede look around the toe and edges. I might not go to a ball in these (though it would be so much more comfortable for sure), but I would totally wear these to even something a little dressed up. They look nice enough and are functional enough to go to a winter event without having to wear huge big brown snow boots.

Custom Comfort

Yes. Custom. The boots come with removable insoles that have superior arch support, a deep heel cup, and an EVA shock-absorbing layer. It has been so long since I had something so advanced in my shoe it did take some getting used to, but it was never uncomfortable and I fell in love with it quickly.

That is not all! The midsole of the shoe itself is designed to be shock-absorbing. And there are three "personal comfort adapters" in the heel of each shoe that can be added for more support, or removed for more shock-absorption. Just pop them in or out depending on your personal preference. I loved playing around with mine to see what felt best.

Made for the Elements

That's right, these are water-resistant. It has yet to snow here, as I've mentioned, but I almost cannot wait to try them out. I've had good boots in the past but I always felt I needed to add a layer of water-proofing spray to them to keep them really comfy in the winter.

These boots are made for winter weather. And the traction on the bottom is great. I'm a lot less worried about the ice this year. Our driveway and front steps tend to ice over really easily and it is always a pain to even get out there to de-ice it. I'm confident these boots will help me stay on my feet even in these conditions.

Warmth and Comfort

There is no doubt these boots are warm and comfy. They are soft, fit well, and help my aches and pains. These boots are actually designed to help relieve foot, leg, and back pain caused by improper support! I know that usually after walking around all during my son's taekwondo class I tend to be a bit sore afterward where my feet kinda ache and I know my lower back is out of alignment. After wearing these, it occurred to me that I didn't feel any of that following my hour-long walk! It was wonderful!

Perfect Winter Gift

Now that I have these boots, it will be hard to wear anything else. Especially over the winter. If I didn't already have a pair, I would definitely want some for my winter birthday or the holidays. And I'm sure others would feel the same way after trying these great Therafit Barbara Boots

The cold, snow, and ice will inevitably come. This year be prepared with the custom comfort of Barbara Boots from Therafit.

  1. These winter boots seem like a pair that I should look into. I definitely need warmth and comfort. I am always concerned about falling or sliding on ice also. I need a decent boot so not to worry about that.

  2. At first these look like cute normal boots. Then I read the review and get a mind blown moment. The fact you can change the sole preference for your feet makes them like a sleep number matress. Super cool!

  3. I would really like to try these boots! They are cute, but more importantly I think they would work for my achy feet. I've always heard Therafit is a good brand for people with foot problems!

  5. The zipper makes it easy to get on and off no matter how thick the sock you wear. No high heel to make walking in cold weather with ice is safer. Warmth and comfort especially for wife who has a knee problem.

  7. I am so with you about ease of putting on shoes. I wear flip flops as long as I can do so comfortable each year and I live in Northwest Washington. These look super comfy, and I love all the adjustments that can be made.
