One of my best Christmas memories is when my boy was a senior in high school and then 17 years old, he got up at 5 AM and went thru the house yelling Get up, it’s Christmas!!! He was excited then as he was when they were kids. I couldn’t and still don’t put any presents out till everyone has gone home or they are all in bed. They always loved the surprise of Christmas morning.
