Enjoy a Delicious Mochaccino Recipe

**Note…this is a recipe from the Ninja Recipe Book

My daughter is a coffee lover. She always has been. My mother-in-law started giving this child coffee when she was a year old, and she’s been hooked since. Her favorite these days are iced coffee. When I found this recipe, I knew I had to make the Mocha Ninjaccino which is a delicious Mochaccino.

Mochaccino

The Mochaccino is so easy to make and the recipe is simple. You’ll need some coffee, of course. And a little chocolate syrup…ice…milk…whipped cream. But that’s basically it. To make this drink, you will only need about 5 minutes. That’s it! Start to finish.

If you have a Nutri Ninja machine with Auto-iQ, it allows an easier blending, however, a regular blender will work too.

Making coffee is not my strong point. I don’t drink it, however, I made it easy on myself and bought one of those single cup machines with a refillable coffee cup/filter. To get the double-strength brewed coffee this recipe calls for, I took the little filter, filled it with coffee and brewed it at the strong setting, a four-ounce cup. I did this twice. Then I chilled it for two hours.

Take a blending cup and fill with 2 cups of ice, add the chilled coffee, ¼ cup milk (I keep whole milk in my fridge), and ¼ cup chocolate syrup. Place the lid with the blades on it, making sure it’s completely tight and place on the base of the blender. If you have a Nutri Ninja, select the Auto-iQ Boost, YES Smoothie.

After the cycle runs, remove the cup from the base and the lid with blades from the cup. Divide the drink into two cups. Now comes the fun part. You get to squeeze whipped cream on top and drizzle with chocolate syrup. Add a straw and enjoy it!

When my daughter and husband drank the Mochaccinos, they found it a little bitter because the coffee was so strong. However, once they stirred in the whipped cream and syrup they found that it was perfect. The whipped cream sweetened up the drink to perfection for my loves. Now it's your turn to enjoy a delicious Mochaccino.

  1. Here's an admission, I rarely (so rarely that you might even say never) buy those expensive fancy coffee drinks at certain coffee establishments, but i WOULD make one at home. This looks fantastic!
