Encourage Your Creative Kids With a Digital Drawing Tablet
Provide an outlet for creative kids’ imaginations!
Almost all kids like to draw so why not encourage your creative kids and develop their artistic skills with a digital drawing tablet like the Wacom Intuos Wireless Graphic Tablet. My daughter has loved drawing for several years now and I enjoy seeing her creative mind come to life on the screen.
About three years ago when she was really getting into drawing we started her out on a more basic Wacom Intuos Digital Drawing Tablet to see if she wanted to develop that interest. When I say basic though Imean in comparison to some of their other drawing tablets, it still had a ton of amazing features. You can even check out that review HERE and below is a video of her demonstrating what she could do on that tablet. The drawing outline that she starts with below is one she uploaded so she didn’t create it but filled it in. Now she does all of her own sketches from scratch which you will see below as well. You can check out the review of her first drawing tablet HERE.
Three Years Later Still Drawing
My daughter still loves to draw. It’s a creative outlet for her and she still draws a lot of manga characters and I enjoy seeing her creativity come to life. I also find that it’s something she likes to do when she’s feeling down or not well or just wants a break, it’s like her own form of therapy. She loves her new Wacom Intuos Wireless Graphic Tablet that you can either get on Amazon or the Wacom site. She got the medium one in pistachio and has been getting to know all of the features. I’d rather she be using her imagination with a Wacom graphic tablet than watching TV or just playing video games. The short video below shows you some of her favourite features and shares some art. Keep in mind these are just some basic drawings to show you the features. Her more elaborate creations take a bit longer.
My daughter who is a senior in high school has gotten a ton of use out of her first Wacom drawing tablet and can still use it. One of the things she was so thrilled about with this new graphics tablet is the programs that came with it for free. Some of them she said she would have had to pay a $100 or more just for one, so that is a bonus. She also loves the Bluetooth feature. To be honest I don’t think there isn’t anything she doesn’t love about it.
When it comes to encouraging creative kids you can’t go wrong with supporting their imaginations and letting them create what’s in their head onto a screen and a Wacom digital graphics tablet can help with that. It’s no wonder the Wacom digital tablet made it onto our Holiday Gift Guide. Make sure to check out the rest of our guide HERE for great gift ideas all year long!
