Dyson Dyson Pure Hot and Cool Link

Keep warm in the winter, cool in the summer & your air purified all year with the Dyson Pure Hot and Cool Link

As someone who is not a fan of winter over the rest of the seasons, I was thrilled that we could review the Dyson Pure Hot and Cold Link. There are some days when the cold seems to seep down deep into my bones and I wish for a solid patch of sunshine to settle into to warm myself. We’ve been unlucky enough to receive snow this winter and a lot of it, something that is very unusual for us, we rarely get snow let alone this. much.

Dyson Pure Hot Cool Link Air Purifier and Fan

The Dyson Pure Hot and Cool Link is a Powered by Mom Holiday Gift Guide Pick!

My daughter enjoys the spring/summer weather just as much if not more. The only part of the warm months that she doesn’t like is nights spent in an overheated room. Her bedroom is situated directly above our garage so during the winter it’s naturally colder, which she doesn’t mind because she stays warm while sleeping but in the summer the garage below traps heat in the room, making it tough for her to stay comfortable. While we do have central air, we’ve found that in order to sufficiently cool our upstairs rooms, it freezes out the bottom half of our home so we don’t usually run it 24/7 in the warmer months.Dyson Pure Hot Cool Link Air Purifier and Fan

That’s where the Dyson Pure Hot+Cold Link comes into play. This innovative piece of technology is compact enough to fit on her dresser, is blade-less and whisper quiet so it never disturbs her sleep. The Pure Hot+Cold does exactly what the name implies: it acts as a heater in the colder months and keeps you pleasantly cool when the weather gets too warm. As an added bonus it also acts as an air purifier, automatically purifying the air in your room to remove 99.7% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns.

One of my favorite parts about the Dyson Pure Hot+Cold Link is that you can link it up to your smartphone. This app allows you to monitor the air both inside and out of your home and provides you with a handy air quality report. You can also control your Dyson device remotely without having to be in the same room, neat! The heater/fan/purifier will automatically monitor, react and purify all by itself without prompting from you or your family members. It works independently to ensure that the air around you is comfortable as well as clean and free of harmful VOC’s like paint fumes. My daughter has the app on her phone, anything with technology and that girl is all over it.

Other features include:

  • Captures smells. A layer of activated carbon granules captures odors.
  • Auto mode. Your purifier will automatically monitor air quality and adjust air flow accordingly.
  • Scheduling. Enables you to program around your day, 3 times a day 7 days a week.
  • Night mode. Monitors, reacts, and purifies while heating or cooling.
  • Thermostatic heat control. Set the temperature in your room and the heater will keep it there.
  • Jet Focus Control. Choose between personal mode for long-range, targeted or diffused mode.
  • Dyson 360 Glass HEPA Air Filter.

The Dyson Pure Hot+Cold Link has made all of the difference in my daughter’s room since we got it. It’s kept the chill out so far this winter and I have no doubt that it’ll keep her room tolerably cool when the weather starts to warm up again. It’s definitely proven itself to be an invaluable little machine.

  1. This looks like the ideal thing for my mama. The only thing I don’t like is the price. Maybe the price will be better one day so we can actually afford it.

  2. Dyson is a great company, but I didn’t know they made air purifiers. I’ve actually been looking for a good one. We bought a little tiny one that really isnt doing much good.

  3. I thought they only made cooling fans. What an eye opener! Heat, cool, and air purifier in a sharp looking body. What more could you want?

  4. I invented something like this in my head years ago. Unfortunately, I have no earthly idea how to make it happen. So glad that these people did. This would really help everyone I know out. I would love it, Mama would love it, who wouldn’t. Nice.

  5. This is a very nice cleaning system. I appreciate the great and colorful review on this, as this is worth checking into very soon.

  6. I’ve been eyeing this for awhile but just pricey. This is on my wishlist this year… and gonna be on it again next year.. 😐

  7. I love the technology in this, I think its great that you can have it hot or cold and a huge plus knowing
it is also helping clean the air around you.

  8. I would love to have one of these. I hate the cold and my Son loves it. Yesterday it was 52 degrees in my house and I was freezing.

  9. This is amazing. I love all that this little machine does in such a small size. I would love one of these for my home.

  10. Though we may work on putting healthy foods in our bodies we often forget about the air around us this is helpful addition to keeping our bodies healthy.

  11. I love the look of this Dyson, but I didn’t realize it had so many great features. I shouldn’t be surprised, though–I adore my Dyson vacuum, so it stand to reason that their other products would be just as advanced. If only they weren’t so expensive!

  12. Very nice item…we especially like the The Dyson Pure Hot and Cool Link’s ability to monitor air quality via smartphone !

  13. This is some kind of awesome! I just ordered a purifier this past week. Thinking I may need to send it back and get this! First time seeing it and I’m impressed!

  14. This would be perfect for work in my office! The air quality to not that great and this would help it tremendously not to mention keep it cool in the summer and warm in the winter. This is just the right size to! Thanks for this review.

  15. I love that it captures smell, and it also removes 99.97% of allergen’s and pollutants out of the air. I also like that you can schedule it around your routine, 7 days a week.

  16. This is so cool. I have not had a Dyson before but certainly they have a great reputation. I love that this cools/heats and purifies the air. All in one.

  17. I am interested in this fan for a couple of reasons. One is that it eliminates the major fail point of most of my other fans, the rotary blade. Two, it’s a three function item, in that it heats/cools, moves air, and functions as a purifier.

  18. Wow! This is so cool! I did not know this product existed. I love that it is all 3 in one and that it is quiet. I need one of these!

  19. I just love this product! The sleek design and the functionality of this unit is well worth the cost. Another thing I really like is that it doesn’t have blades to get all dusty. I have been eyeing one for some time now and am considering purchasing one.

  20. This is great, and I did not know this was out there. Buy one machine instead of 2! I like the programmable screen and it keeps temperature where you set it. I have to look into this, thanks!

  21. I would love to have a Dyson fan. I have seen them on QVC and they explained how they work. So glad this is bladeless. They are so hard to clean. Also this is great for people that have allergies.

  22. My kids’ rooms are above the garage also. We did install ceiling fans to help during the summer but this might be a great addition on those super cold nights and the hot/humid days.

  23. Oh how I want one of these. I love how there is no blades twirling around. It has everything I dreamed a fan would have. Heat, cool air, air purifier and yes a remote control. They are a little pricey though. Maybe Santa will bring me one next year.

  24. What an amazing product! Heats, cools and purifies and yet it is small enough to fit on a dresser. I am certainly going to add this to my Christmas list. Thank you!
