We can’t stress enough the importance of using high-quality essential oils that don’t have any synthetics in them. I’m not a fan of using ones bought on Amazon unless I know a lot about the brand. After months of experimenting, I’ve put together a few of my favourite blends that I’ve found make the best bath bombs; save yourself the hassle and try out these combinations instead! Soothing Escape
This simple yet soothing blend can help relieve tired muscles and is a great choice for soaking away the strain of the workday.
3 drops each of Lemon, Lavender and Peppermint essential oils – this is also my favourite combo for diffusing when I am bothered by my seasonal allergies.
Romantic Nights
The best bath bomb for complementing your love struck mood or prepping for a romantic night with that someone special.
- 5 drops Ylang Ylang essential oil
- 3 drops Patchouli essential oil
- 3 drops Wild Orange or Bergamot essential oil
Balance
My go-to blend for balancing emotions and lifting the spirit. The best bath bomb for when you are in a funk or coping with emotional turmoil and need a balancing influence.
- 3 drops Lavender essential oil
- 2 drops Geranium essential oil
- 1 drop Bergamot essential oil
- 1 drop Roman Chamomile essential oil
Defense
I recommend this blend for detox and immunity support. I use this in my bath at the changing of the seasons, whenever I feel physically drained or during cold and flu season. It’s my armour of protection and the best bath bomb if you find yourself with a hangover.
- 3 drops Rosemary essential oil
- 3 drops Geranium essential oil
- 2 drops Lavender essential oil
- 1-2 drops Tea Tree essential oil
Peaceful Nights
This sleepy time blend packs a powerful punch and can help you fall asleep and stay asleep. The best bath bomb for helping you to relax both body and mind, it’ll set you up for a peaceful night’s sleep and you’ll feel great in the morning.
- 3 drops Lavender essential oil
- 2 drops Red Mandarin essential oil

I am going to have to give your allergy blend a try. I am always a little afraid to diffuse peppermint because I put way too much in a diffuser once. After the eye watering and coughing I emptied my diffuser and never used it for that again.

I have been thinking about making some of these for my niece. She is on her feet all day long and then has a 3 yr at home. When she has the house to herself she is in the tub. These are really nice and I could make a lot of different ones.
