Crock-Pot Slow Cooking

I love using a crock-pot because it's so simple. I just cut up the veggies I want in it, throw in some meat (or not it can be veggie stew) add a packet of crock-pot seasoning mixes, turn on the crock-pot and let it do it's magic. I put it on in the morning so that it's ready by dinner time but I love that I can just walk away and not have to check on it as it creates a warm and hearty meal for me and my family.

Here's my favorite simple one, I just add carrots, potatoes, the pot-roast, a few bay leaves, rosemary and a packet of crock-pot seasons mixes along with water and/or broth and that's it! Here's what it looks like in the beginning:

Here's our nice bowl of yummy stew after it's been in the crock-pot on low for 8 hours, so good! I like to have it with some French bread or rolls with a bit of butter on them. That makes for a complete, healthy and very filling meal!
