  1. Sometimes my daughter (being a single mom) doesn't understand so it's hard to continue to take care of her and try to recover in the meantime. It makes me feel worse thinking I'm not giving her what she needs.

  2. I am a heart patient so I can't take anything like dayquil or nyquil or cough syrup. The best I can do is sleep, hot showers and using vaporub and a vaporizer 🙁

  3. The worst thing bout a cold is it almost always goes around our family and comes back to me--I could take the stuffy head, the nasty cough, but the fact that I have a compromised immune system, with only 30% lung function, means that I usually/always end up having to go to the doctor and get antibiotics for 14 days to be on in order to get better.
No more waiting it out--once I start coughing yellow/green stuff, I get to the doctor!

  4. Being stuffed up, not able to breathe, sore throat due to drainage & not being able to breath, which all leads to a lack of sleep and feeling miserable. Like I'm feeling right now with my cold.

  5. Everything! Actually, I rarely get sick...or it may be that I try not to let it take me down because no one else can get this place in order and make sure everything runs smoothly. Not being smug...just realistic...I had the flu 2 years ago for a week...and then had to spend the next 2 weeks cleaning this place up.... pass on that! The laundry alone...UGH!

  6. There are so many things, lack of energy, lack of sleep, that i can't keep up with the chores, that I can't give my baby kisses...

  7. The constant dripping of my nose; the last cold I had saw me go through almost a whole box of tissues over the course of three days...very annoying as my poor nose was so chapped even with really good, soft Puffs.

  8. The worst part about getting a cold is the lingering! I'd rather just come down with something & have it over & done woth in a day or two.

  9. Not having the energy to do anything but sleep. All the while you know dishes are piling up, laundry is not getting washed, it frustrates me!

  10. For me the worst part about getting a cold is the runny eyes, along with the runny nose. It doesn't really hurt, but it is just such an aggravation.

  11. For me, the worst thing is that I can't get rid of the cough. I am vulnerable to lung infections and have a nasty-sounding bark when I have a cough, and I always seem to have the cough for weeks after I was sick. It's no fun at all!
