Kids will love to be outside on this GOTRAX Glider Cadet Electric Scooter!
We recently received the GOTRAX Glider Cadet electric scooter for my daughter to try out. She selected the Alien Green color, her favorite color and was anxious to try out. We had to wait until the snow melted as we got some snow here in March, not common for us but fortunately it did not last long.
Before I forget as I don’t know how long it will last GOTRAX has this same electric scooter on sale for ONLY $99 and that includes a helmet too. This is a steal as the Glider Cadet electric scooter usually sells for $179! If you want to snag one while it’s still on sale GO HERE. Above is my daughter on her GOTRAX Glider Cadet electric scooter, this was taken when she was first trying it out. She’s a cautious gal, so she’s no speed demon, she doesn’t really ride a back but she loved the idea of the electric scooter. We love that for GOTRAX safety is key and with a mechanical handbrake just like on a bicycle, the GOTRAX Glider Cadet keeps her in control of her electric scooter. Knowing she had control to stop whenever she wanted made my cautious gal feel a little more secure so off she went to get this motor started as you can see above and below. You can engage the 100W motor up to 11 miles per hour and it has a range of over 7 miles. My daughter is not quite ready for the 7 miles yet. She has to work on her balance but she was having fun trying it out. Her dad who has great balance from his snowboarding and riding his GOTRAX Hoverboard was giving her some tips on how to get used to her electric scooter on her very first ride. It’s a solid unit that didn’t take too long to charge up and it’s easy to manoeuvre.Since my daughter is still getting used to her electric scooter my husband was all too happy to do a demo for us. Now GOTRAX Glider Cadet is meant for up to 120lbs, obviously, he weighs more so he couldn’t go top speed. For this quick demo though even with his weight it still had some pep to it. Watch the super short video below.
As you can see it’s got some manoeuvrability and can be a ton of fun for kids. As I’ve mentioned it’s a solid unit, just take a look at the durable front wheel. Here’s a top view of the same wheel. As you might have seen in the earlier photos, we still had a bit of snow on the ground and it was wet outside. It’s also obvious we’re surrounded by pine trees hence all the pine needles on the ground and in every photo. This did not make the electric scooter slip and slide at all. Of course safety always comes first so make sure your kiddo is wearing a helment and knee and elbow pads. My big kid enjoyed trying out the GOTRAX Glider Cadet electric scooter too as you can see above. You will love that the kids will want to go outside for some fresh air and just get them out of the house. They will love that they’ll soon master their Glider Cadet scooter as it just takes the same sense of balance we all use to walk down the street or ride a bike.My hubby and daughter give the GOTRAX Glider Cadet scooter a two thumbs up for fun, speed and ease of use.
If you’re looking for that perfect gift for the kiddo in your life go and snag a GOTRAX Glider Cadet scooter especially while it’s still on sale HERE.
