Powered by Mom Blog talks about Green Carpet Cleaning Again!

I know I know for someone who only has one carpet I tend to talk about carpet cleaning a lot :). Seriously though I like to share information when I find it especially if it helps us all to be a little greener and hopefully without the high cost. If you need to have carpets cleaned why not go with a carpet cleaner who has a 100% green cleaning services? I've looked online and in my area and it doesn't cost any more (sometimes it's cheaper) to have carpet cleaning done that is not toxic but is people and earth friendly then it is to use ones that have those smelly chemicals.

I personally can't use the old regular carpet cleaners as they set off my allergies and I just can't tolerate the "chemical" smell of some of them. I like to know I'm doing what I can to be more green and between my family and our pets I don't want to expose them to anything toxic. I only use green cleaning supplies in my home which by the way cost me a LOT less than regular cleaning products. I buy one bottle of Shaklee's Basic H2 that costs me $11 and it's lasted me over one year already and I'm only halfway through the bottle. I use it to clean windows, mirrors, countertops and so much more (not my carpet though it's not for that). When it comes time to clean my one area rug you can bet I will use only eco-friendly products.

If you're in the New York area check out this carpet cleaning company (yes 100% green cleaning) HERE.
