All Natural Snacks and Organic Candy for Guilt Free Snacking
The holidays are upon us and with this is the abundance of food and sweets. The holidays (and well anytime during the year) can be hard for those who prefer to eat vegan, sugar-free, organic or even on a diet. Torie and Howard are all-natural snacks and organic candy are the perfect fix for the sweet tooth but without all the guilt. I honestly wasn’t sure how I would like them, but I kid you not, the hard candy tins are so good!
Torie and Howard candies are Free of all:
- Artificial dye
- Corn syrup
Torie and Howard all started because Howard was focusing on his health after losing over 100 pounds (way to go Howard). Torie had a sudden onset of food allergies which forced her to make some serious changes. With all of that affecting them, they both really focused on all natural foods.
While Torie and Howard only have a few options, don’t let that fool you. I know so many see all the no this or that and think that also means no flavor. I had the same thought, and I’m so glad I was wrong.
- Meyer lemon & Raspberry
- D’anjou Pear & Cinnamon
- Pomegranate & Nectarine
- Blood Orange & Honey
- Pink Grapefruit &Tupelo Honey
Out of the 5 options, I’d have to say that the D’anjou Pear & Cinnamon is my favorite. Neither of the flavors are overpowering and work really well together. I love the fact that they come in the little tins even though each candy is wrapped. This makes it great for the purse. They are also a great idea to include in a gift basket as a little something extra.
If hard candy isn’t your thing and you like something a little more chewie, then check these out. You still have the same flavors as the hard candy with a few more options. Sour Apple is a new one along with sour cherry (so good!). You can buy them in stick form (just think of a long pack), or in pouches. I love the pouches as you get 2 in each which is perfect when you want a snack for yourself or for putting in the kids’ lunchbox.
Kudos to Torie and Howard for creating an Organic candy that everyone can have. If you haven’t seen them in your local store, check the organic section. You can also look at their website and put in your area code in the store locator section. I highly recommend checking them out. If you have, please let me know what you think and which one was your favorite.
