Powered by Mom Blog is having a Halloween Treat Kit Giveaway
Prize Sponsored by Kellogs!
Ends 10/24 @ 6pm PST
One lucky winner will receive the Rice Krispies Halloween decorating as show above. There may be slight variations with the candies for decorating that are received as ours didn’t look exactly like the above. We received the Rice Krispies of course, the marshmallows, the two decorating gel colors orange and black (I loved that we got the black as I had gone looking for this exact colour 2 weeks ago and could not find it anywhere!), the two cookie cutters and a variety of candy for decorating. The candies were different ones than the picture above but they were all lots of fun and Halloween themed.
My daughter and I were delighted to receive this Halloween decorating kit from Kellogs. As you can imagine we were eager to make the Rice Krispies treat because who doesn’t love them and now we had all sorts of goodies with which to decorate with them. We had a ton of fun making different shapes and doing the “designs”. My daughter was worried that hers looked goofy but as I told her it’s all about the fun and besides with Halloween ghouls, goblins and other such things the goofier the better in my opinion especially since my “decorating” skills are not top notch LOL. Yes, it’s all about the fun and eating a yummy treat afterwards that’s the other half of the fun.
I have to admit it had been a while since I had gone to the Rice Krispies site as making Rice Krispies squares is so easy and we usually don’t do a lot of decorating, sometimes we add chocolate chips (yum) or sprinkles on top. I was simply amazed at how many different decorating ideas that they have to share for these yummy treats. They have ones for Christmas, Birthdays, Fall, Mother’s Day, Easter and so much more! Go and check out the Yummy Treats Special Occasions page oh what fun it is!
Withe cookie cutters they sent us and all the wonderful ideas from the website it was super easy to cut out these fun treats and at first we couldn’t decide what shapes we wanted to do first, pumpkins, bats or monster heads. We did a few of each check out our masterpieces 🙂
My favourite one is the cyclops monster head my daughter created above but the bats and the pumpkin shapes were all a lot of fun to make as well and just as yummy.
Now for more fun ONE lucky winner will receive their own Rice Krispies Treat Halloween Kit. Enter on the easy rafflecopter below and remember to only claim the entries you following through on. Those who don’t follow the rules will have ALL entries disqualified. Thanks for keeping it fair to all!
