Looking for healthy chicken recipes?
Ahh it’s the start of a new year and 2020 to boot, wow seems weird to say 2020. With a new year, we always try to start it off with some goals and improvements, we won’t say resolutions as we want these to be attainable. To start we tweak our eating habits and make it even healthier if possible like with some healthy chicken recipes.
One of they easiests steps I like to implement to eat healthier is to have my favourite protein, chicken with salads, leafy greens or just a bunch of vegetables. Chicken with salads though are my favourite and thanks to Chicken Farmers of Canada’s recipe section I’m never short of recipe inspiration for healthy chicken recipes.
For example the recipe above their green garlic chicken with pea shoots and greens is so tasty and just look at it, a healthy alternative. It makes for a great meal, so filling and the flavour combinations are divine. Their recipes are categorized so it’s so easy to find a recipe to suit your needs.
I am thrilled to announce that for 2020, once again I’ve been selected to be a Brand Ambassador for Chicken Farmers of Canada.
This is such a great fit for my family and I as we love chicken but it’s also very important to us on how the chicken is raised and where it comes from. We want to know there are high standards for food safety and animal care. As well we like to support Canadian owned and family run businesses.

The majority of the farmers with Chicken Farmers of Canada are just that, small family-owned farms who support their community and adhere to strict animal care standards.
That’s why when we buy our chicken we always look for the Raised by a Canadian Farmer logo that I shared above. If your store doesn’t have it, ask for it!
