How to Eat Healthier This Year for A Healthier You
Learn how to eat healthier and become the best version of yourself. Through nutrition and fueling your body, you can feel good and conquer the world. We are sharing some ideas on how to make it easier to eat healthier this year and beyond.
Meal Planning
Meal planning can play a big part to help you and your family eat healthier. If you shop for healthier items and plan how you’re going to incorporate them into your meals and snacks it’s already a healthier choice then grabbing anything from the cupboard or fridge when you’re hungry.
Make Your Meals Colorful To Eat Healthier
When you have different colored vegetables and more in your meals it’s one way to help you to eat healthier. You know you’re getting a bit more out of your meals when you include a variety of vegetables (think colors) to go with your proteins and healthy carbs and fats.
Stop eating when you’re full
We’ve all been known to do it. We keep eating even though we’re full, but why? If you’re full put the utensils down, it’s okay to push that plate away. I know I was raised to eat everything on my plate but I think a better way to think of it is to have a bit of everything in moderation from my vegetables to my proteins and carbs. Make the healthier choices.

This is something I’m definitely signing up for and hopefully my son after his recent heath scare. He has a terrible duet and zero exercise. He’s expressed needing guidance on the road to a healthy lifestyle. I know he eats a lot of high sodium frozen garbage and drinks way too many energy drinks. Now that I’ve been an empty nester for a few years now I’ve gained weight mostly from eating when I’m not really hungry and having trouble adjusting my cooking for just one. I’m really interested in meal prep. I like the idea that we can kind of take this journey together by using the same program. I’m really glad I cane across this. Thank you so much for the valuable information!

I have alot of food allergies and even take medications because of some of the allergies. I already work with a dietician through my doctor’s office because of the food allergies. It might be a nice diet or way to eat for some people.
